Next, I will act as your guide through the history and traditions of extra virgin olive oil at our museum, “sa mola de su notariu.” Here, you'll be immersed in a forgotten world among ancient equipment and stories that will transport you back in time, highlighting the essential role of olive oil in Sardinian culture. We'll offer you the unique opportunity to descend into the old underground cistern, an enchanted place that holds our treasure of oil lamps and ancient artifacts related to the world of oil through the centuries.
But the experience doesn’t end here. Taste, the sense that enhances extra virgin olive oil like no other, plays a crucial role. I will lead you on a journey of flavors, guiding you through a tasting of our products, during which you will learn to identify high-quality extra virgin olive oil—a valuable skill to take home.
Tasting our extra virgin olive oil, you will discover the true essence of fruitiness, bitterness, and spiciness. Additionally, you will have the chance to try “Limolio,” a unique oil made from organic olives and lemons, perfect for dressing salads and fish. “Rogo del Tempio,” our spicy oil, perfectly enhances meat or baked dishes with its rich bouquet of nine traditional Sardinian herbs.
All will be served with a platter of cured meats, fresh sparkling wine, water, natural olives, and carasau bread.
