Over the years we noticed that most people want to explore the national park on their own , not following groups and guides . That is why we started doing the tour like this . We take care of the transportation , provide you with entrance tickets which we have booked for all customers but which are not included in the price. Please take a look at the additional information section to check the prices . The guide will enter the park with you , he will give you the tickets , you will get maps and information .
Also , in the morning you will get nice fresh sandwiches and water for the day . It can be ham , cheese or mixed ham and cheese sandwiches with salad and tomatoes and a bottle of water.
Like this you will not have to worry about food and you can just enjoy the tour and have a nice picnic at one of the many places for picnic in the national park.

Know before you book

  • Free hotel pick up and drop off is available in Zadar town only ! And the time of pick up depends on which side of town your apartment is , we will contact you about this matter in advance . For pick ups out of town there will be some extra charge
  • We recommend some good walking shoes for this excursion.

Activity itinerary

This is the meeting point for all that have their accommodation in or near old town . Everybody will now please pay here for their national park entrance tickets which are booked for all customers . Everybody will get their sandwiches and water from us now and we will walk together to the bus.
Zadar Land City Gates

At this point everybody can take their places on the bus . The customers who have been picked up at different locations will now get their sandwiches and water and will have to pay for their entrance tickets .You will now get important information and suggestions from the guide before we start. The ride to the national park entrance number 1 will take between 1:30 - 2:00 hours . On the way to the national park we will make a short stop for toilet if needed ( please ask the driver to stop if you need and he will be happy to make a short break ) .

We will be at the entrance number 1 of the national park around 10:00 am . Please wait for the guide to get the tickets and follow him then to the entrance of the national park . He will take you inside as a group and after this you are free to go.

Now you have free time in the park on your own . Inside you can us e the free train and boat ride . You can explore the park like you want to , we suggest route C . You will get maps and there is signs all over . It is all wooden paths easy to walk. There is a lots of places to rest and have a nice picnic . It should take around 4 hours relaxed walking if you want to see all and if you use the free train and boat ride . You have 6 hours and that gives you enough time to rest , eat and make photos.

We all meet at the same place we started - entrance 1 and back we go to your address. The ride back should take around 90 - 100 minutes
