Overview

Enjoy a half day Sightseeing tour to the windmills, the countryside, a local cheese and clogs factory and Volendam.
You will visit a unique Dutch park called the Zaanse Schans not far from Amsterdam. Here are the most special windmills of The Netherlands such as the paint windmill, the sawmill, spices mill and peanut oil.
Thereafter you will see how we make the original Dutch clogs and there is a possibility to buy clogs/wooden shoes and souvenirs.
Your driver/host will take you to the windmills for a photo stop. IF you like to see the winsmills from inside you have to purchase the tickets by your self.
Thereafter it is time to taste more than 30 flavors of very nice Dutch cheese for free!
At last you will visit Volendam where you can lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in town, buy some very nice Dutch waffles and enjoy the nice Harbor of Volendam.
Duration of the tour will be approx. 4 hours and the pick up and drop off is in Amsterdam.

Discover the great Dutch Windmills and make nice pictures of it. There are 7 windmills left at the Zaanse Schans and a few are open to visit. You can see the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint), a saw mill, a spice mill and many more. There is also a possibility to take nice pictures of the windmills. Admission to the windmill park is included in this tour. If you like to see 1 or 2 windmills from inside you have to purchanse the tickets by your self.

Learn more about the Dutch wooden shoe making and see a demonstration how they make the Dutch clogs now. There is a possibility to buy the wooden shoes, the clogs and other souvenirs in the wooden shoe factory as well.
