Carioca in the Marvelous City

The tour starts at Lido square in Copacabana. We will leave for Corcovado, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located, and the story of the creation of the monument will be told.

After visiting Christ the Redeemer, we will visit a carioca kiosk, with caipirinhas and typical dishes from Rio and possibly a carioca pagoda band.

We will continue the tour, walking for 3km along the Copacabana waterfront, where the history of the neighborhood and recent events will be told, such as the presence of immigrants from different countries, who live in Rio. We will arrive at the Copacabana Fort, where the Army Military Museum is located. Brasileiro, the famous Confeitaria Colombo, with a beautiful view of Copacabana beach and also a view of the sea, where the defense of the city takes place, in case of an invasion.

Entrances to visit Christ the Redeemer, Copacabana Fort, travel insurance, food and drink are not included in the tour price.
