Scuba Diving Lesson & Guided Open-Water Dive

by Red Sail Sports Duration 4h Features animals Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per traveler Price is $103

Immerse yourself in an underwater realm with an introduction to scuba and a tank dive in the life-filled Caribbean off the shores of Aruba. For non-certified divers, this is the perfect way to learn the ropes and experience the thrill of breathing under the sea.

Begin your day with a pool session to get comfortable with your equipment and pick up pointers from your expert instructor. Then hop aboard a custom-designed dive boat and head out into open water, across Aruba’s shallow sand plateau to the off-shore tropical reefs along the protected western and southern coasts.

Next, strap on your tank and dive in – Aruba’s temperate, turquoise waters are rich with exotic sea life and vibrantly coloured fish, including graceful manta rays, beady-eyed moray eels, fearsome barracudas, crawling octopuses and even delicate seahorses. Soak up the silence and serenity of this marine realm, where the only sounds are your gentle breathing and the occasional bubbly swish as a school of fish darts by. Keep your eyes peeled – playful dolphins and gentle sea turtles also call this watery world home.

Swim along behind your instructor as they lead the way through open water, going down as far as 6-9 metres (20-30 feet) in search of Aruba’s famed wrecks, teeming coral gardens and undulating, sandy seabed.

Carl the instructor was great, not for the faint of heart My 17 year old daughter made it thru the pool instruction but was unable to go open water because she couldn’t relieve the pressure in her ears during decent. Super fun time, I was under looking at the ship wreck and turtles and a ton of cool fish, 45 minutes at the bottom. Not a bad idea to look at some beginner scuba instruction on you tube prior to going

I was afraid and almost didn't go in but by time i was done with pool training i was a lot more comfortable. I teacher was amazing and patient with me which i needed. the experience itself was amazing if you have never have done scuba diving before excellent place to learn. I would and probably will do again next year. Well worth money only wish i bought a diving camera with me so hard to explain how beautiful it is to people.
