Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning at 3:00pm, and transferred by a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Simatai Great Wall and Gubei Water Town tour. After 2-hour driving, you will first arrive at the Gubei Water Town.

After arrive there, take a ferry to the foot of the Great Wall, and ride on a cable-car to the Wall. This section was constructed under the supervision of Qi Jiguang, a famous general in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Simatai Great Wall displays various patterns of construction. Here, you can not only view the conventional appearance of the Great Wall, with battlements on each side of the track, but also see on steep cliffs the half-wall style, with battlements built only on the outer side.

After your time on the Wall, take the cable car down and start walking around in Gubei Water Town when the lights' up. Relax in the ancient town and enjoy the beautiful scenery at night. After a tasty lunch at the Water Town, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Beijing around 11:00pm.

The Water Town is closed at 9:00pm.
