Below you will find an example schedule that our teachers can flexibly adjust to tailor the event to your needs:
Mutual introduction of teacher and participant
To know who you can spend the event with, introduce yourself to each other. Describing your previous experience with yoga helps our teachers to tailor their yoga practice accordingly.
Preparation
Before you get on the board, you warm up and prepare for the water. This includes stretching, breathing exercises if necessary and a short introduction to paddling technique.
Paddling
After preparing, you paddle your board out onto the water and look for a quiet place where you can practice yoga.
Yoga on the board
As soon as you have found a suitable place, the yoga practice begins. Most teachers start with simple exercises such as sitting cross-legged and posing the child to get used to the board. Then it moves on to more advanced exercises such as the warrior, downward dog and tree. For some fun, instructors also incorporate challenges like standing on one leg or performing sun salutations into their SUP yoga classes to improve balance and concentration.
Cooling down and returning
At the end of the yoga practice there is a cool down and relaxation, which usually consists of breathing exercises and a final meditation. After the yoga practice, you paddle back to land and the event ends together.
The booking option without Stand-Up-Paddle (SUP) is available for 30€.
The event takes place with a total of 8 participants, the maximum number of participants is 16 people - if the required number of participants cannot be reached for the booked date, an alternative date will be offered.
