Hotel being renovated at time of stay but all facilities still available. Hotel staff very helpful and professional even letting my friend print her airline ticket from their office. very charming old building but not sound proof so not great for light sleepers, on the 2nd floor we could still hear the music from the bar downstairs. Also had a group of very loud drunk women shouting and slamming doors until 3am, it would be useful to have someone on duty at night to prevent this. Otherwise a great stay.

Pocket Guide: Perth Fremantle 2 stars Hotels

Located 15 km (9 miles) southwest of the city centre, Freo (as the locals refer to it) is one of Perth's top attractions. Wander through its impressively restored historic warehouses and prison dating from the convict era, as well as its Edwardian streets and shopping precinct. Good museums, street markets, bustling working docks, energetic nightlife and a great variety of restaurants are other attractions, while in summer the beaches benefit from the 'Fremantle Doctor', a pleasantly cooling breeze.
