"The hotel was fine in every regard, once I got the hang of the layout. It's one of those winding, rambling type of layouts, and I got lost trying to find first my room and later the cafe. "This was a good choice for the area. Quiet, semi-private…. no thoroughfare for odd traffic. I felt the cleanliness wasn’t up to par for the initial impression. Debris under edges of bed, a rogue hair (not ours) on the shower wall, mildew spots on bathroom ceiling and no bathroom fan. The bedspreads seemed well used, maybe time to replace? I’m not super squeamish but come on…! I also am VERY familiar with being a hotel room cleaner. That was my first paycheck job at 14 and for several years...

I did advise the front desk clerk around 4:00 pm and she called maintenance at that time but the doors were still accessible the next day and had not been fixed.
