"Excellent location, set back from any main roads. Extremely peaceful but exactly what you need for a weekend away. Pond outside of the cabin made it gorgeous for a lovely drink in the morning to start the day. Scott was a fantastic host and extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. "

"Nice property in a central location, close to the beach and promenade, as well as local restaurants and bars. Good base for exploring the local area, close to Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Flat was spacious and clean, having everything you would need for a short break. Only grumble was strict check-in/out policy, not being able to access entry until 4pm, and early check-out by 10am."

"We were initially given a room on the first floor, but on returning after going for a meal, we were asked to move, to a room on the ground floor. After five minutes we were asked to move again to the first floor, next to our original room!. The receptionist was very apologetic. We think the bathroom needs updating, it has a shower over the bath, but no hand rails, so getting in and out, can be difficult, as there is nothing to hold on to."

"We stayed in room5 top floor 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed for 1. Bedding and towels were new and fresh. Bathrooms were spotless. Small fridge, kettle , toaster and microwave all look new . Coffee /tea complimentary. TV in lounge . We were visiting family so needed somewhere local and pet friendly. "First impressions were spoilt be the pot holes in the driveway leading to the car park and the reception area just being a computer situated on the end of the bar. Room was clean and bed very comfy. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Considering the price paid, overall I would give the hotel a score of 7 out of 10"

"Initially, there was some ambiguity about the check in, however as soon as I contacted the service provider, the manager arrived at the property in person and solved the issue. I didn't expect that prompt and kind reaction in response to my problem. I'm sure their business will flourish swiftly as they have put their customers' satisfaction at the centre of it. They are caring and fair and I wish them prosperous years a head."
