"The hotel is located by the main shopping estate in the area, not exactly in Cognac but easy enough to drive into Cognac on one straight road. Wifi is not very well connected. I used it in the common dining area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is ample. Communal kettle by the entrance did not go down well for me. I have to fetch water from my room to fill the kettle and boil it in the public area. Not great value for money but is acceptable and adequate for a stopover."

"This is a very centrally located hotel that was ideal for visiting Cognac. The room we had was spacious, clean and had a fully accessible bathroom that would be nice if you had mobility issues. "Lovely out of the way hotel. Stop over on a long business trip and was very happy to find this charming residence. Helpful staff as my grasp of the French language is somewhat limited. Chef was ill on our night, so couldn't sample the wares, but local restaurants only 5mins away by car. Room was nice and bright, though could certainly benefit from air conditioning as was very warm. "The hotel was okay only. The bedding was comfortable and clean. Overall my room was clean however there was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The hot water in both sink and shower got to only the cool side of warm. The booking included parking however the hotel parking lot cannot accommodate more than a few cars and the streets nearby are very crowded. Front desk staff was very friendly. Would not be my first choice in the area."

"LIKED Friendly, helpful staff. Quirkiness of the decor and furniture that you only find in French hotels. Overall cleanliness. Very comfortable bed and room. Ample breakfast. Availability of tea and coffee. DIDN’T LIKE (just minor things) Parking very tight and therefore tricky, no milk with the tea and coffee (though got a jug on request). No slip mat in bath when using overhead shower, nor any handles. Coffee at breakfast served in an open jug so went cold by the second cup."
