The pool was crowded with families and younger couples in the hot wx of July. The dining was excellent; staff were friendly. It is close to two UNESCO World Heritage towns, Baeza and Ubeda. "Absolutely loved this hotel. It’s simple, nothing fancy, but charming. Rustic and surrounded by large olive gardens; it made us feel like grandpa’s farm. "Excellent mattresses on beds, great sized rooms. Ours had a lovely terrace and bath with shower. Bath is rather slippy. We arrived very late, after 11pm. Bar was still open, however, the night porter was a bit abrupt and had no intention of letting us through the door until I showed him our reservation."
