"The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, although as is typical for buildings this old the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. "Our family of 4 was split across 2 rooms due to their smallish size, but it was still a great bargain compared to other options. The hotel is conveniently located for several pubs and restaurants as well as the promenade, beach, electric railway, and horse trams. It's not too far from the ferry terminal, and we made it just fine by walking. Would recommend staying here."

However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation.
