"This is a traditional house, very nicely renovated. The best thing is the delightful terrace with a lovely view. This is where you have a very nice, very well presented breakfast. We were rather disappointed with our room. Although spacious it was far from luxurious and we had problems with the plumbing twice in 9 nights. Yaiza is a very quiet little town and for a better choice of restaurants it is easy to drive to El Golfo or Playa Quemada, both by the sea."

On the map it looks a long way but by car its only 35 minutes from the airport and I couldn't recommend it enough for families and older people who might find Playa Del Carmen for instance as a bit too lively. "First of all don't purchase the shuttle that Expedia offer you from the airport to these villas because you will receive an email after you've made the purchase saying that they don't go there and offering you a refund.
