Cozy and convenient
While the property is located in the heart of Downtown Arcata and is walking distance to everything, the real star of this rental experience was the property manager/owner. I've rented through VRBO many times in the past and have never experienced such thorough details in advance and such a warm welcome upon arrival. We didn't have a need for anything, but it was very reassuring to know that we would likely have a quick response if there was a need. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept great both nights. This is such a perfect home for visiting my daughter while she is up at Cal Poly Humboldt for college for the next four years. I'll be back for certain! Thank you for opening up your home!!!

Great space & location
My son & I were there to see the redwoods. This location was in the middle of where we wanted to hike. There are restaurants & coffee that you can walk to & a grocery that’s walkable for trail snacks. We drove up from SF & made a couple of stops on the way. It’s a beautiful drive. We drove north about an hour to see the Grove of the Titans. Would highly recommend. The apartment is very spacious & clean. The beds are great after a day hiking & driving. In our case because of the rain the fireplace was awesome. Thank you Larry for sharing your place with us. It was perfect. So happy we found it.
