grotty but central

Adi is certainly close to everything. The room was very musty and the bathroom moldy. The sheets and towels were less than clean. Breakfast was nice but limited to basically eggs, fruit and toast.

Peaceful and quite.

Apart from the ageing hotel, the rest was fantastic. Peaceful and quite area. Just what we need for a get away from hectic and busy town. Shops were everywhere along the road. Fantastic bar and restaurant. Cant ask for more. Hope this hotel will tend to upgrade their rooms and facilities.

Hotel staff are fantastic. Was very disappointed in room as information on this site isn't what your getting! The photos are of the junior room not standard room. So false advertising! Bathroom is very dirty and no Internet in room and no cable tv as said on this site

Mildew/Mold at Adi's

Posted Jul 30, 2012
The staff were great, but the 2 rooms we looked at smelled of strong mildew and mold...I stayed there with my asthma and it was not too pleasant due to the smell.

Very nice garden, no internet

Posted Jul 10, 2012
the room quality of the room was quite disappointing, but was clean, just the sheet had some stain, internet didn't work in the room. Watter runned really slow. There was a allnight barking dog in the next house. Stuff was very friendly, helpfull and nice. I really loved the garden,

No frills, just great staff

Posted Dec 5, 2010 on Hotels.com
Great location in Ubud, but you must expect no frills.Upon check-in, we learned that our standard room was hot and crowded and we had to pay a little extra for an upgrade. The bathroom was fairly poor by US standards, but the ac worked and the refrigerator kept things very cold. Nice settting and the staff was very kind and accomodating. They found us a wonderful driver for side trips. The breakfast was very accommodating and we enjoyed the wi-fi, as we had our own personal computer with us!

Every thing except the room

Posted Oct 24, 2010 on Hotels.com
I choose to stay at Adi cottage because my friend recommended me that should to stay here. So, my mother and me stay at Adi cottage one night, on the first day of my trip. I have to booked the room before visit date. I arrive in the night. The staff is friendly. The location is good...green color from tree around the hotel and not far from monkey forest and Ubud market. I can walk to these place...not more than 10 minutes from the hotel to each another. You can go frequently as you want. Many local shop along the way such as mini mart, cloth, post card, handicraft, art gallery, home decor, jewel, spa, money exchanger and tourist information. The only bad thing but very importance to me is the room. ..The room be moldy. I can feel it when I inhale since I open the door. The bath room not clean. I inhale very bad smell all the night. The air of outside very fresh when compare inside. Sometime I think that I should sleep at front of the door outside. I am very disappointed. I feel that I am lucky to decide to booked this hotel only one night!!!!!!!!. If I back to Bali again, I will not go back again. Need to improve soonest!!!!!!! I do not believe that the owner and his staff not feel the bad atmosphere at this room. : (
