I only had the room cleaned once in the one week I stayed, which turned out to be unnecessary because I am not sure what more they did than just take out the trash and change the towels. "This is my third or fourth time staying at the Portifino Hotel. Prior stays were wonderful causing me to return. I especially enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness of both the rooms and surroundings..This stay however was different. We stayed in beautiful suite with an amazing view of the ocean and enjoyed the calls of Sealions. We were disappointed by the suites insect problems. "The hotel is a ok choice. It’s easy to get to downtown LA. There is places to eat at the Point. There is also a soul cycle for those interested. The staff are also very kind, helpful and want to help. Our room however was a horrible. There was hair in our bathroom and all over our towels. To be fair the hotel did rectify it but it was our anniversary weekend 😒 also the room smelt like a sewer especially coming from the bathroom. "
