“Definitely Making this trip again!!”
Arrived on the 4:30 am flight, requested early check in, no promises were made. But they were able to get us in quickly. They upgraded us to a room with kitchen near the dive shop. It was on the ground floor - great location! But smelled very musty/moldy. Called the desk and they immediately moved us to a 2nd floor room. This was perfect. Had a screened in balcony with view of pool and ocean! Walked down the steps and were at the door of the dive shop. The room had two double beds, sleeper couch, two closets and two dressers, and full kitchen. This worked great for a quick breakfast. The screened balcony was very private. We were near the back gate that leads to town. There are two restaurants on the premise. This was convenient for a couple meals, but we liked to venture into town for dinners. The staff at the dive shop were very friendly and helpful. We went in June and it was an off week, not a lot of people, so the boat averaged 6 to 12 divers a trip. They have wooden lockers right on the dock. So there is NO hauling your gear back and forth. There are rinsing tubs for your gear right there. The shore diving could not be easier - it's right off the dock. You can dive 24 hours a day if you choose. We walked into town every night. If you want to see more sights like the flamingos or the donkeys your best bet is to rent a car or scooter. This was primarily a dive trip for me and my sister. I am definitely going back next year.
