“Best Dive Operation In Bonaire”
Divi is a fine place to stay, rooms are nice and clean, casino on property, dive operation is smooth and fun, the food is excellent, have and will stay at DIvi Bonaire again
“Definitely Making this trip again!!”
Arrived on the 4:30 am flight, requested early check in, no promises were made. But they were able to get us in quickly. They upgraded us to a room with kitchen near the dive shop. It was on the ground floor - great location! But smelled very musty/moldy. Called the desk and they immediately moved us to a 2nd floor room. This was perfect. Had a screened in balcony with view of pool and ocean! Walked down the steps and were at the door of the dive shop. The room had two double beds, sleeper couch, two closets and two dressers, and full kitchen. This worked great for a quick breakfast. The screened balcony was very private. We were near the back gate that leads to town. There are two restaurants on the premise. This was convenient for a couple meals, but we liked to venture into town for dinners. The staff at the dive shop were very friendly and helpful. We went in June and it was an off week, not a lot of people, so the boat averaged 6 to 12 divers a trip. They have wooden lockers right on the dock. So there is NO hauling your gear back and forth. There are rinsing tubs for your gear right there. The shore diving could not be easier - it's right off the dock. You can dive 24 hours a day if you choose. We walked into town every night. If you want to see more sights like the flamingos or the donkeys your best bet is to rent a car or scooter. This was primarily a dive trip for me and my sister. I am definitely going back next year.
“Convenient Dive Hotel”
I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were extremely frendly. The accomodations were sufficient (clean rooms, we had an oceanview room so the sea was literally just outside our balcony). The on-site dive center was extremely friendly, laid back, and a joy to use. You can walk into town for dinner if you want). We'll definately be going back. The only downside to us was that the hot water was scarce it seemed, especially if you took a shower during the time that everyone else would be showering. Then again, with the outside temp being as hot as it is, you don't need that much...
“Really nice stay”
The view from our room was fantastic (several of the rooms are right on the water). When we first looked out over the balcony, we could see parrot fish swimming just a few feet from us. There's a great shore diving and snorkeling site (reef) right off the hotel docks. Excellent service all around. The room was really clean. The hotel restaurant (Chibi Chibi) is pretty good and the on site dive shop is very good. The on site casino is small but nice. They also have a Hertz rental shop and a spa on the grounds. Prices were quite reasonable, even in the hotel gift shop. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. We were very satisfied.
“good time at divi”
It was are first time in bonaire and we had a great time. The staff at divi was nice and freindly. They have all you will need to have a good time all at the resort. The woman at the dive shop was very helpfull to us when ever we had a question. The activeity desk help out and set up kayaking trip, sunset sail, and scuba trip to the east side of the island. Even the cleaning ladies where very nice.We are planning to go back and would use divi again.
“Diver's Paradise”
Perfect getaway. Not too big and not too small. Services, food and attitude of staff, excellent. Diving was great even just off the beach. On site dive shop, with lockers, was very convenient. Five minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants.
“Dive Divi”
The Divi Hotel is a great place to stay. The location is a close walk to town and about 5-10 minute drive from the airport. Since our previous stay 2 years ago, they have nicely renovated the lobby and have upgraded some of the furniture in the rooms. They are now expanding the bathrooms in the studios. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean. Don't go for the beach. It is very small but do go for the diving. Even if you are not a diver, this if the place to give it a try. It is the most accessible diving. You can start by going right off their dock.
“repeat visitor”
friendly and warm, treated us like family
“Nice place”
Nice property,well maintained.
“Enjoyed my stay”
Pleasant place to stay, 2 pools, nice pier, umbrella lounges, excellent scuba diving. Only negative is checking in, because the plane to Bonaire arrives at 6a.m., and the hotel doesn't allow check in until late afternoon. Find something to do the first day you're there!
