“The room was great, however there were issues with leaking from the air conditioner on several occasions.”

“My experience with Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort and booking through Expedia was extremely disappointing. First, the hotel is not worth the money. The property is outdated and in serious need of upgrades. The photos online make it appear much nicer than it actually is. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. To make matters worse, I cut my trip short because the stay did not meet expectations. Even though I checked out early, Expedia and the hotel refused to refund the unused……

“De facto place to stay when in Bonaire (once a year). Big rooms, nice beds, fantastic showers and such a cheery friendly staff. Can't miss with this one. ”

“No ocean view. Parking lot view, old uncomfortable outdoor patio furniture, terrible cooking appliances and construction next door for premium price! Way overpriced!!! Cooking pots outdated and old. ”

“Was a nice clean room with great AC. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The property is laid out in a odd configuration but has a great island vive. Area around resort has construction so detracts a little. Only real issue wa the restaurant closes early, just when you want to eat dinner. Also, poor water pressure in the shower. All in all, I would stay here again. ”

“A beautiful property with a nice sandy private beach, great snorkeling right there, and a wonderful staff. Good food at the on site restaurant La Balandra, convenient and delightful. Easy 25 minute walk into town. Great dive shop on the property. Incredibly quiet and relaxing here. We’ll be back, that says it all!”

“We had a room with a view, but the palapa in front obstructed much of the view. The rooms were clean and utilitarian, but the balcony was spacious. The restaurant served good food, but it would have been nice if they served breakfast. The beach was across the road, but it was a beautiful beach. Minimal parking but there was free parking on the street. ”

“We stayed a week in a compact, but very well designed studio with kitchenette. Wifi and A/C were good. We were lucky to have a ground floor end unit for added privacy on our porch. The pool was smallish, but a great amenity to have. Comfortable poolside loungers and an honour bar. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance, but Bonaire is best with access to a vehicle. There’s access to the water across the street at Bachelors Beach. Cons: The motion……

“Everything was perfect. This is an oasis sanctuary. Thank you Methelda and Camilla for being perfect hostesses. Loved the pool, the hammocks, the salsa lessons etc.”

“The room was spotless the staff very helpful and extremely friendly. Loved the room and kitchenette that had everything we needed complete with a cooler for the beach. The resort had beach towels. The resort felt very calming. And lastly the grocery store was in walking distance ”
