"My wife and I stayed here for one night while we visited the Isle of Colonsay; we wish we could have stayed longer but the limited ferry schedule constrained us. Since this is the only hotel on the island, it doesn't exactly have much competition, but it provides a good experience nonetheless. In addition to a hotel, it's a pub, lounge, and restaurant, and there are tables and chairs set up in the grassy yard. "My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay at Ardoran House. Richard organised for us to be collected from the ferry pier at no cost. We were made to feel very welcome and Richard was attentive to every detail to make our stay enjoyable. The premises were modern, very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with a glass of wine at 6.00pm and enjoyed two excellent breakfasts during the stay. I would highly recommend a visit to Ardorran house. "

"Good location looking straight down to the sea loch…otters close by though we failed to see them. The local walk along the b road is lovely….looking towards The Wilderness. Mrs Campbell is a real character…gets very heated if you leave the gate open, but otherwise very chatty and amiable."
