"Sweet space, well-stocked and nice open living and kitchen area. We enjoyed watching birds eat from the bird feeders and a family of deer graze in the meadow and along the edge of the woods! The location was situated well for accessing nearby hiking and is not far from scenic Hudson landmarks. Excellent quiet place to relax and take things at your own pace."

"We needed a central location for my daughter’s bridal shower. We could not have imagined a better place. It is beautiful and so natural. Glen was helpful and welcoming. He even came over to sweep off the expansive patio before our guests arrived and this was after he made sure everyone was awake. The house was well supplied with kitchen and dining items. The grounds were perfect - lawn chairs, picnic table, fire pit and free range chickens whose eggs we were able to enjoy. We would all stay here...

"Beautiful, updated property! Very modern and clean. Loved being able to park our car and walk to all of Woodstock’s shops and restaurants. Big fenced in yard is a plus for extra security/privacy. Loved the gas fireplace for extra warmth. Beds were very comfortable. Bottle of wine was a nice welcoming touch. We will definitely return for the Flea Market located directly across the street."

"We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much."

"Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. "We really enjoyed our stay! We had a large group of 24 friends, and the house met all of our needs. It was very clean, had enough bedrooms for everyone, and a large dining table that accommodated everyone for big dinners. We spent a lot of time throughout the weekend outside playing lawn games and sitting by the fire. The place was close enough to grab amenities or go to a grocery store, but off the beaten path and quiet. It was exactly what was listed and made for a where enjoyable time....

"Our stay at the property was exactly what we needed. We live in NYC and needed a quiet getaway to start planning our wedding and this place provided the peace and quiet we needed. It is EXACTLY like the listing says, both in pictures and description….which is rare. All of the extra amenities(hot tub, grill, etc.) worked wonderfully and we can’t wait to go back and unwind at this fantastic property again!"

"Quiet, secluded - a roomy house with massive yard, good deck and excellent dining table. We found almost every thing we needed and everything else at the grocery store such as plastic storage containers and Kleenex. A few touches would add to this comfort such as chairs in the bedrooms and suit hangers. The owners were terrifically responsive and went out of their way to make it easy and safe for our toddler. We really appreciated their efforts."

"The Chapel at Upland was the perfect 2-day getaway for me and my two teenage children! We wanted something tucked away but that also had a pool. The added bonus was the tennis court. Both the pool and tennis court are new and well-tended. Our dog was able to roam the property and get her own little vacation too. The house is cute, good for 4 people. The host, Lisa, is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars!"

"I can't rave enough about this house! It was absolutely adorable... beautifully decorated, felt so cozy and comfortable. We LOVED it. (I don't like when you are in a house with nothing on the walls and it feels unlived in - this house feels loved and lived in!) I loved the blackboard with the listings for restaurants, what to see, etc. We enjoyed the screened in porch, beautiful grounds, sound of the nearby water, and the cozy and spacious living room.
