Minimum expectations not met

Pros: Good location. Cleanliness was good and the bed was very comfy. It was quiet and we slept well
Cons: Provide enough towels, a couple of plastic cups for oral care
Location: Close to interstate highway. Several restaurants with in walking distance
This "secret" property was listed as 2.5 star. This is not accurate; typically, in my experience, a 2.5 star is a La Quinta, a Best Western, or a property of this caliber. This hotel is an Extended Stay. I've stayed at one several times and they are never a 2.5; they are a 2. But, usually OK. Kind of like playing house to stay there , When we checked in the clerk, Irma, who was very pleasant informed that the room had no pots, pans, dishes, etc. She said she could try to find they things if we needed them. WE didn't. It was just a one night stay. But our room, which was nice enough and clean, didn't even have the minimal amount of thing needed. For the two us there were two bath towels, but only one wash cloth and one hand towel. There was no coffee pot and not even a plastic cup at the sink to use for tooth brushing. We ask for another bath towel as my wife used the pool and were informed there were none available. I would have used the exercises room but there were no towels there either! So, it was a disappointing stay. When I told Irma of our displeasure she said that we could leave and she would refund our money. This was not a good option at 8pm. If just a few things were provided it could have been an OK stay. But, it really failed to meet our (minimal) expectations. VG

The hotel smelled from the minute we walked in. The staff was nice enough but the overwhelming smell made staying there difficult. The elevator had pistachio shells and garbage all over the floor and the pool looked almost green. Our bathroom was clean enough but looked like someone took a hammer to it at some point. It was great there was a burner in the room... If I had an appetite to eat with the smell going on. I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy.

Keep Driving

Pros: I liked the way that it looked in my rearview mirror as I was speeding away as fast as legally possible.
Cons: Everything
Location: I believe that there are some other properties that you should check out.
Staff was ok but not great. Saying that the property is dirty would be kind. The elevator floor had stains that made me wish that I could levitate. I actually wiped my feet with the longest strokes possible on the casino carpet in the hallway in an effort to friction burn the germs off the soles of my shoes. The worst part?.... I was woken in the middle of the night by a woman in the hallway screaming for help along with, what I found out later, was her daughter destroying the room next to me. I was actually concerned about my own safety. After everything calmed down I dozed off only to be woken up by a pounding on my door. It was the local police trying to find the crazy girl next door. If you are a thrill seeker that doesn't need sleep, this is the place for you. Otherwise I would keep searching.

The staff was so noot nice at all. Made us to wait for long time and helped other people eventhough she knew that we came first. After all, the room wasn't clean......there was left over garbage in the kitchen....After all, we're not coming back again.

You get what you pay for (almost)

Pros: Not much. The desk clerk when I registered tried to make things work, but the manager did not appear to understand the concept of customer service.

I've stayed at other Extended Stays and they are basically cheap ways to get a roof over your head. In the past, when I've gotten deals I've found them to be good values. However, the Denver North Aurora property is a dump run by people who don't seem to care (with one exception). My room was not ready when I checked in at 2:30; they said come back at 3 as that is the official check in time. Fair enough, but when I came back at 3 I still didn't have a room despite having a reservation. The lobby was filled with trash; trash that was still there the next morning. The stairwell was gross with cigarette butts, dust that looked like it had been there since before Colorado statehood, and trash. My room was clean and comfortable but the remote didn't work and they had no replacements nor would they switch me another room. They also had no glasses or cups. Outside the entry way was consistently surrounded by smokers so one had to enter or depart through a cloud of smoke. I would avoid this location!

Pros: The location of the hotel to my daughters house and the number of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: EVERYTHING. Tell guests the cleaning policy and that animals are allowed in the rooms, this information should be included in the hotel description

The check in process was good. After returning from our tour of the city that day after 9pm, I had expected the room to be cleaned, bed remade and clean towels. The room had not been cleaned. When I inquired about this at the front desk, I was informed they only clean every 7 days and asked if I had paid more to have the room cleaned more often. I stated I was not informed of the 7 day cleaning policy and that I was not offered the option to pay for additional cleaning. At that point I was frustrated, decided that if I had been told that in the beginning I would have never selected the hotel in the first place, and I was not going to pay for additional cleaning. I asked for 4 clean towels and was informed that I would need to bring the dirty towels down to receive new towels and because there were only 2 of us in the room we could only get 2 towels. I stated, I was not going to steal the towels, I did not want them to clean my room but we were only there for 2 more nights and I wanted 4 towels. They finally provided the 4 clean towels. The hotel allows for dogs in the rooms and every night around 3AM a dog would start barking and would not quit for almost 30 minutes. The layout was cramped and the TV was at an odd position. My experience was appalling. I would not ever choose to stay in this hotel again. I had already paid for the hotel through my Expedia package otherwise I would have changed hotels after finding out about the cleaning policy.

The only problem I had was the construction of them remodeling the rooms. I feel I should have been made aware of that when booking with them. Other than that I was completely happy
