"We were very aware that the property is needing a refurbishment and this is reflected in the price. We rarely bothered with breakfast as the quality was not overly good, but again we knew that. The pool is beautiful and the pool and groundsmen pretty good when not arguing with private apartment guests over sun beds (apparently they are not allowed to use). "The resort is the only one of its kind in the main tourist area in Langkawi. It has multiple restaurants/ bars and 2 pools. The second pool had just been refurbished and was slick and modern, the larger pool area was more dated but was clean and really pleasant to cool off in. "We stayed in a Premier Seaview Chalet (1233) during the first week of May, so certainly not as busy as previous reviews indicate. It was hot and humid though and it took a few days to acclimatise. Thankfully the air conditioning in our chalet was very good and we loved the free mini bar, replenished daily. Great variety for breakfast at both restaurants. First morning we tried the Brassiere (beachfront). Its quieter there and the food is very good with great views, but it was a little too humid...

"The place is good enough for a one-night stay for a big group such as a family of 6 like us. The international breakfast buffet also have a great variety that cater to various taste buds and someone who like to experience various cuisine like me. I enjoyed the room temperature swimming pool as well, especially in the chilling weather in Cameron. However, the room conditions is not fantastic and hence, it is good for just one to two nights. The customer service is good enough."
