Lovely hotel, wonderful location. I really wish they had an airport shuttle, though. Taxi service for red-eye flights is pretty touch-and-go and I nearly missed my flight. The bar and lounge that are almost always closed are a bit of a tease, but there is a fine bar that's sort-of connected; you have to ask.

The Broadmoor was a delight all around.
The grounds are stunning. We couldn't understand how there was never anything dirty or even slightly out of place yet no one ever seemed to be around cleaning. It seemed that every place I found myself was remarkable. Flowers in lobby rooms were amazing. Trees and mountains outside were awe inspiring. Even paintings on the walls at the indoor pool were striking.
The service is excellent in every regard...quite literally our every need was anticipated. Every person we encountered at the hotel greeted us and was helpful.
We sought out many of the nooks and crannies and were awed by such details as a movie theater showing free current movies nightly and full sized bowling lanes in one of the restaurants. The outdoor pool area is also delightful.
We enjoyed three of the restaurants and were most pleased with each experience. The Del Lago (Italian) in particular may be one of the best meals we'd ever experienced.

I thought it was strange that I needed to put down an additional deposit on the room and then had the room checked over to get a receipt that my deposit had been credited back. Never experienced this before.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice greeting from the owner at check in. They had complimentary wine and local beers at check in. Room was nice and comfortable. Great access to old historic Colorado Springs with shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very close to Manitou Springs as well and easy to get to highway 24 then you are close to Pikes Peak, some great hiking, etc.

The hotel was very convent to everywhere I needed to be. I was able to make turns or hope on the highway if needed. I can say a few roads over I was not able to make a left turn due to the traffic congestion - so this was nice and easy. Very friendly people. I only have two negatives - one was moths in the room, we had several and their breakfast was a lacking -

Not bad and good value for Colorado Springs. Place is tidy and maintained. What you would expect for this class of hotel. Bed was comfortable and room mostly quiet. Selection of restaurants within walking distance. Bit of a way from town centre but lots of parking. Small pool onsite. Room facing away from the main road may have been quieter.
