“Excellent Location”

The location of this hotel is ideal; just off the main road that runs through Dublin where all of the buses (city & tour) pickup. Also, the airport shuttle drops of very close. The free internet throughout the hotel is great and very convenient. They also have a printer for you to use at the front desk. I would, however, save my money when it comes to their restaurant. It's expensive and definitely not worth it! That would be the only downside.

“Great location, good value”

We were very pleased with our stay. We had one minor problem, with our television, and when it couldn't be fixed, we were promptly moved to a new room.

“Great Hotel and Location”

Great location - quiet street, 10 minute walk to Temple Bar, across the street from the Hop On Hop Off Bus. Great breakfast, clean rooms, and the rooms were big by European standards. Two free computers in the lobby.

“Location, location, location!!!!”

The people that work at the hotel could not have been more helpful. The hotel does not have a place to have lunch, but one of the young men working there got out a city map and showed me various places to get a good lunch. I had the continental breakfast each morning that I was there. It costs about 6 Euros, and consisted of various cereals, fruit, yogurt, buns/breads, ham and cheese. To me it was worth the price, the resturants/pubs in the area didn't start serving breakfast untl 10:00 AM. I was not impressed with the full Irish Breakfast at the hotel, so I stuck with the continental. The Hop on Hop off bus picks up right across the street from the hotel, and the Air Coach (airport bus) pick up is about a 2 minute walk. O'connell street is a main street with lots of pubs and shops and easy access to downtown Dublin. I would recommend the hotel as the location can't be beat.

“I Loved This Hotel!”

This is a wonderful hotel, centrally located in the City Centre on a quiet side street. The hotel was extremely clean and cosy. It was also very quiet. I loved my stay here and I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Dublin. And oh, the bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have ever slept in. Moreover, they had two computers in the lobby with internet access, which was very convenient. And the Irish Breakfast was amazing!

“Great location and a great hotel.”

I had zero problems here. There was three of us and the accommodations were excellent. Comfy beds. Wi-fi worked excellent on both of the two different occasions (rooms) that we stayed. They have terrific luggage storage facilities for free. Two restaurants, 1 bar and 1 cafe downstairs. Room was clean and the location very central. I didn't include breakfast but we ate at both restaurants and the food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Great location to use public transportation”

Clean and quiet room. Located right off city center, yet not so close you hear all the street traffic or pub noise. If you want the breakfast deal be sure to inquire about it during check in, they won't mention it at the desk.

“Great Place To Stay”

Did not know what to expect after reading about how small the hotel rooms are in Europe. But I was very pleased with the room size. The trip to Dublin was my sons graduation gift and I wanted the hotel to be nice. I spent hours and hours trying to decide on the hotel I thought was best and I do not think for the money you could find a better hotel or one in a better location. Even though we had to walk a few blocks to get to the Temple Bar Area it was a nice walk. When it was time to turn in, it was quite and you could get a good nights sleep. The beds were as comfortable or more so than any hotel that I have stayed at in the states. Even though the temperatures are mostly mild in Dublin I am glad we picked one with air condition, I suggest this for anyone from the states. I would recommended this hotel for anyone traveling to Dublin. I plan on going back and will not have to search for the hotel, I will stay at the Best Western Premier Academy Plaza Hotel.
