"We enjoyed our recent stay at Gwendolyn's property. It was as described in the listing. It was conveniently located to explore all of the little local towns surrounding the area. One thing to note if you plan on staying, there is no sink in the "kitchenette" area. We rinsed our cups out in the bathroom sink (upstairs) but there is no place to properly wash. The "kitchenette" is just a mini fridge, coffee pot, and microwave as stated in the listing. I made an assumption that there would be a sink...

The desk attendant upgraded our room to the “penthouse suite” for the trouble. The room has potential to be very nice with a bed and bathroom upstairs in a loft, a bed and bath, living room and kitchenette on the main level. "Nicely redone two BR cottage, lots of space in LR for pull out couch (my son found it was decent quality 👍). Wonderful to have a water view from both the front and back decks - short walk to the water (6 houses back?). Treats on arrival were a kind bonus. Even though it rained a few days, found things to do (wineries, Amish Market, Chesapeake City). No stores very close, so bring food - but also ate at the local Beach Bar — Fun group of neighbors around the bar (like Cheers!). Next door...

"We arrived to this property late in the evening. The Key was not where the property manager told us it would be. The neighborhood is very loud with sirens at all hours of the night so if you need quiet this is not the best location for any peacefulness. The beds and bedding were stained and smelled of smoke.
