Leigha went above and beyond for our breakfast taking care of our gluten-free needs by baking several fresh cakes. It was the best European breakfast we had on our 2 week journey. "The property was in a great location in the countryside, peaceful, and a short scenic walk (about 800 metres) down the hill from Assisi. If you like a bit of exercise and and can walk this distance then it is a perfect way to get to the town each day and enjoy the expanding views when you go up the hill. Our host Giulio was exteremely helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay in the area. "

"The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
