"Don't be put off by the name (a "lodge" has a certain meaning to me) - if you're looking for an excellent hotel near Norwest, The Hills Lodge is it. The rates were better than competitive, and the room was spacious and well fitted out. I had a small balcony overlooking a pool, and I always enjoy having an open area when staying away from home, so this was a big plus for me. The only issue I had was the connections for the TV were not accessible, preventing plugging in a laptop to watch my own...

"Perfect from check in to check out. Staff were both professional and friendly. Rooms were super comfortable and well appointed. The grounds were lovely to walk around and lots of extra activities - free slushies, marshmellow toasting etc ( it was during school holidays) We had dinner in the Harvest restaurant- outstanding. "Comfortable and convenient, easy to access and plenty of parking. "

"Rooms had heaps of space with a good kitchen. The down side was it said pool open from 7am but was locked until 8am. Pool was one of the main reasons I stayed there. "

"Travelled from Victoria, picked this location and when entering the room especially was overwhelmed with the spacious layout and highly impressed. Room would be ideal for a family of 4 as it accommodates the sleeping for 4 and could even entertain in the dinning area for social gathering. Liked the fact it was also quiet and was able to unwind after a long drive in the spacious spa. Would highly recommend and would certain book again. "
