Guanajuato Green/Sustainable hotels in Guanajuato, Mexico

We preferred staying at a small hotel that would capture the Mexican culture, and our expectations were exceeded. While not everyone at this small Inn spoke English, we none the less were awed by the staffs effort to make our stay enjoyable. Our recommendation is for couples that prefer to be cared for by considerate people at a hotel that is in a great location.... rather than a posh and large chain with all the amenities

This is no-frills hotel which offers a comfortable bed and decent-sized room. It is not a sterile cookie-cutter hotel; the building is unique and interesting. Great for vacationers. The best thing about it is its location, It is a 5 to 10 minute walk from most of Guanajuato's main tourist attractions, not much longer to the rest. The staff was freindly and helpful. One possible issue: The hotel is across the street from a rock bar which play amplified music very late, so if you like to go to bed early, you should request a room in the rear of the building. I would happliy stay here again.
