regarding poor customer service!Posted Apr 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
poor customer service was rendered by the chinese assistant manager. He should learn to be more courteous. He was arrogant and rude!!! I booked for 2 rooms and later found out that 1 room was cancelled. I paid the 2 rooms 6 months prior to my arrival. I told him that it is impossible for the other room to be cancelled becoz I have one confirmation number for 2 rooms. He let us wait for 4 hours before allowing us to check in what's worst.. he kept us waiting in the lobby for hours until I demanded him to give us 1 room where all of us can stay and wait. They gave us a room after 4 hours and was never even apologetic of their mistakes. He kept on insisting that it is the fault of Expedia and Days Hotel Iloilo encountered the same problem a week prior to our arrival. What we are asking at least he should have given us 1 room immediately before he clarify things with expedia for the other room which we paid 6 months ago and we are staying there for 4 days 3 nights because of our convention. He was very rude and unfriendly!!! This will be my first and my last stay in DAYS HOTEL!!!

The staff in the restaurant remembered me from the few times I stayed in the hotel in 2009 or 3 years ago - that's amazing!

It would have been fine if only...Posted Aug 15, 2011 on Hotels.com
...the doggone wifi would stay strong enough to reliably send or receive more than short messages. I had to take my laptop out of the cooler AC'd room to a less cool lobby to complete messaging, and even there, the glitches continued on my mac, iPhone, and iPad. Maybe PCer's have an easier time? Hey, I can live with the kind-of weird terrarium windows in the rooms, and everything else was actually quite fine, especially the excellent breakfasts in a panoramic wall of glass breakfast room. And the fitness center was as adequate as any I've used in extensive travels in Europe, S. and N. America and Asia. I've stayed at the other top hotels in Iloilo, and would probably return to Days if only they could get the wifi to be less irritating.

Very satisfied with my stayPosted Dec 10, 2010
The people were very friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the dining room staff. The complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding with a great selection of local foods. The Gym had a lot of modern equipment that provided a great workout. There was different massage options that was provided but I limited my experience for just a few in room service, but if you want to relax and sleep well, it will certainly work away the stress. The room was very well kept and very comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed was there was no view to the outside. Ofcourse there are other rooms with a view, but apparently mine didn't have one. I was also a little disappointed with the internet availability in the room. You still had to pay for 1 to 5 hours internet access if you wanted to use your laptop. Of course the business center provided internet access computers for a minimal fee. They also had an internet Cafe on the second floor that provided internet access for 30 pesos for 1 hour. Not too bad. Over all, my stay was very nice and relaxing. I'd certainly recommend the Days Inn at Iloilo to any traveler. Sincerely Richard
