Worst hotel i have ever stayed in

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Fix it up and clean the rooms better, cook the food on a stove not microwave it
So our room was a smoking room and have stayed in them before but this one was so strong we could not stand it. My husband smokes but goes outside and even he found it to strong. We had to go and buy febreeze spray just so we could stay in the room. The room had cigarette burns everywhere even on the bed spreads. There was 4 of us staying in the room and there was 3 pillows on each bed and 3 towels in the bathroom, yet there was 4 of us. The beds were very small and dipped in the middle. The airconditioner was very noisy and looked and sounded on its last leg. Lets just say we did not sleep much. We went to the continental breakfast. They brought out frozen sausages and put them in the microwave. They were light grey and discusting, they did the same with the tater tots. Worst breakfast ever. When looking at there site the pictures are very deceiving as we saw this huge room with a large water slide. It was one of the reason we picked this hotel but when we saw it, it was not even half the big room, very disappointing. So much was run down or broken. Will not stay there again. We went to another hotel for our second night as we were not going to spend another minute there.

Never Again

Our staff often stay in this hotel, however this experience was horrible. Lacking in all the comforts of home...no wifi...no hot water...no return visit from me!

Close to Shopping Mall.

The hotel was more expensive than the adjacent hotel that was fully serviced. This made us fee we were over paying. It was noisy and out side doors were open quite late and drunk individual was coming in with out being checked. This made us nervous. We had no problems but not our best experience.

The hotel has no ramp or an elevator so it sucks when u have to left a heavy luggage to your room without assistance. The room smells like ciggarettes which stinks :/

I was needing a dog friendly hotel.

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: I really enjoyed breakfast. Not because of the food but the attendant. He cooked all the waffles for guests while making balloon toys for the childre
Cons: Shampoo the carpet in room 146. Change the bedspread more often!
Location: Very good location for dog travellers. Right on the edge of a valley with walking trails.
I was disappointed in the room. Small room. Bedspread was stained. Lamp on one side of the bed did not work. Bathroom fan was noisy and had no independent switch so everytime you use the bathroom, the noise was annoying.

Nice looking hotel, fun staff and great price

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Price, pool/waterslide
Cons: Indoor change room for the swimming pool for guests with exterior facing rooms
Our stay was nice. I didn't realize that the hotel has some motel style rooms with doors that face directly to the outdoors. This made the trip to the pool a little colder than the kids would have liked, especially on typical windy Lethbridge days. However, the pool and waterslide were very nice and the kids enjoyed their time there. The breakfast is included in the room rate, and while the food is nothing special, the staff do a great job entertaining guests, especially the kids, providing jokes and balloon animals.

Staying at Days Inn on a hot summer night

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, free wifi, continental breakfast
Cons: This hotel needs a proper air conditioning system. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
Location: Close to Park Place Mall and The Bay. Several fast food outlets nearby.
There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan and a cool setting. The fan pushes the air up to the ceiling, not into the room. It was not even as good as my own bedroom ceiling fan. It was incredibly hot in the room and I barely got 2 hours sleep each of the 2 nights I stayed and ended up with a migraine headache. On the other hand, the lobby, where the staff work, is air conditioned. There was a huge difference when I came out of my room down to the lobby.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: For the most part a fairly quiet hotel.
My only issue was that after driving in the heat, we walked into the room and it was like a sauna as the air conditioner was turned off.
