"Very nice hotel and staffs"
We spent 4days/3nights at the hotel. Great service began when we landed at MLE. Hotel staff came to find us and took us to the hotel by a speedboat. Welcoming process and orientation by our personal butler were perfect and very helpful. The room was in fairly good condition for age of the hotel. Our personal butler, Deepu, was very professional and thoughtful. Very impressive!!!

"Sharks Beneath our Bedroom!"
I never believe people who say that holiday destinations are 'paradise', but Cocoa Island is as close as it gets. It's expensive, thats a fact, but frankly, worth every penny. The food is superb, the decor and facilities first rate. We came here principally to dive and the resort dive shop is, in my fifteen years experience, quite simply the best. The fifteen meter boat, with crew of three plus dive instructors was as often as not host only to myself and at most during our two weeks, to three other divers. The dive sites are amongst the best I've ever seen, with the greatest drift dive ever in 'Cocoa Thila'.The resort is built on the Island itself but the rooms are located on stilts above the ocean, and we really did have baby black tip sharks swimming under our bedroom, and around our ankles at times! Turtles, Manta, Sting Rays, Eagle Rays, White, Black tip and Grey reef sharks abound. The resort houses about eighty people but we felt we were almost alone there, and there's no fighting for space or sun beds. We hardly saw anyone during the day. There's no 'night life' as such, but who needs it when the days are so long and beautiful. We skipped lunch most days, too hot, and the complimentary fruit bowl more than sufficed! Wine with dinner went from pricey to ridiculous and breakfast being the only meal included in the 'rate' one is a bit hostage to their only being one restaurant but as I said before it is exceptionally good.

"Amazing Stay...can't wait to go back!!!"
Upon arrival we were greeted by fresh faced, smiley employees. We had a person to each group on the speed boat transfer, so that we didn't have to queue. We got a lovely drink to start off and a detailed tour from Vicky! Explaining all the must do's for the island! Which was fantastic and just what we needed. The teppankyaki restaurant was exquisite, our personal chef Mart was awesome! Our room was spotless and cleaned twice a day, with all the sand it was exactly what was needed. The breakfast was an incredibly large range, with help chefs on hand. The at table service was brilliant. Couldn't fault the island at all!

"Humbling Beauty"
We were in the 2nd story of an overwater villa on the edge of the pier with nothing but ocean and sunset east of us. I can't recommend the overwater villa enough, unless you are trying really to save and want to stay beachside. Being able to see the sunrise, reef below, and sunset in the distance every day away from people passing by and bar music was really amazing. We were literally the only Americans on the entire island, a rare breed in the maldives apparently because of the cost to travel and distance. But we couldn't have been more happy. We met a wonderful german couple and made a lot of friends simply by being present. We would recommend taking a day to do nothing and just enjoy / take pictures, then fill parts of each day with a few things to do. Don't overbook yourself in paradise!

"Paradise even in the rain"
We have just had a week at the Taj and despite it raining at some point of every day, the experience was amazing...the rooms were awesome and staff so attentive, especially the dive centre, the resident marine biologist Jack made us all aware of the importance of the coral reefs with his weekly tutorial and daily snorkeling trips / feeding the stingrays... Thanks Jack for making the week so memorable

Friendly locals, white sands, and beautiful waters are just a few of the features that make the Maldives a top destination in many tourists' minds. Whether you plan to go diving, lounge on the beach, or just have breakfast on the balcony of one of the relaxing hotels in the Maldives, you are in for a great time.

The wonderful beaches of the Maldives make for great water sports. Swimming, snorkeling, and diving are quite popular. Other sports that tourists enjoy include surfing, parasailing, kayaking, and motoring about on jet-skis. Whatever your beach-related desire, you can satisfy it in the Maldives' beautiful waters.

The rainy seasons for the Maldives are July to August and November to March. Most of the rest of the year the weather is pleasant and tropical. Even during winter months, the Maldives is still comfortable and many tourists love to visit around the winter holidays to get away from the cold weather elsewhere.

Many consider the months between May and November to be the prime time to visit. During this time, the clouds can help cool the temperature down a bit, but it can also be a bit on the rainy side. This is often considered the best time to visit if you enjoy diving or snorkeling. The water tends to be a bit clearer than it even normally is, which can enhance water sport activities.

This will give you the opportunity to access the best Maldives hotel deals and Maldives hotel packages, even at top Maldives hotels that would normally be significantly more expensive. The secret to finding a great cheap Maldives hotel deal is to book early.
