"Beautiful resort. Perfect holiday"
Had an amazing time. Chance to truly relax and unwind. Staff were lovely and made the stay extra special, friendly, helpful but also discreet and we were just left to enjoy our holiday without being pressured into taking up extra activities/excursions. Food was ok. Did not go all inclusive and although more expensive did give us more choice and flexibility. All very fresh clean and well prepared. Good choice of water sports..but for the less adventurous (like me) it was just enough to snorkel in the lagoon....the variety of tropical fish I saw was amazing. Accommodation was pleasant and clean, had water villa with steps straight into the lagoon. Despite being close to other villas it was still private and designed so that you are not overlooked by 'the neighbors' Wasnt cheap but probably comparable to other resorts with same rating.

"Perfect family vacations with young kids!"
Maldives are not only for honeymooners! We had a great time as a family. We are a couple traveling with a 3 and a 5 year old girls. The hotel offered a playground, a kids swimming pool and a very small kids indoor play area. They offered also babysitting for an extra charge, but we did not need it. The kids were so entertained with the beach, sand castles, hammocks, calm sea (which they could watch the beautiful little fishes with their goggles) - all at your door step - that we did not miss the kids club or monitors. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We stayed at a Beach Villa and it was an awesome experience. The room is not luxurious, but it has a simple elegance that bonds with the beach theme. It also has a nice outdoor bathroom (don't worry, it is private). I would not choose the Garden Villas. For a little more money I think it makes all the difference and you will have a beach literally at your doorstep. The food was served in a nice self service buffet. It was well presented and tasted very good. For this hotel do not over pack your suitcase - you will not use much of your clothe. The whole family was barefoot the whole week. We didn't even use flip-flops! This is a place to relax and enjoy nature. If you enjoy snorkeling and scuba-diving this place is A-MA-ZING!! It was the first time the ever snorkeled and it was an awesome place to do that. No waves, clear blue warm waters and plenty of colored fishes to look at. It looked as an aquarium!

"Great activities AND relaxing stay in Maldives!"
If you're looking to do some fun-filled activities AND relax by the water then this Resort is right for you. It was our FIRST TIME in Maldives (my husband and I), and we were looking for a resort that combined those two things We just returned from our 4 night stay in Kurumba. I must stay we are very pleased with our choice of Resort. I don't have another Resort to compare to, however from our recent experience, we truly enjoyed our time in Kurumba. The staff at the Water Sports Center in Kurumba were extremely friendly. We went jet skiing (aka water scooter) at 4:15pm and we were able to see the Dolphins!!There are only two jet skis, my husband and I were on one and the water sports employee (Ayesh) was on the other. That was their policy, we weren't able to have our own, but that's ok. You were in the middle of the ocean, and there are so many islands around, you probably wouldn't be able to get back to your resort alone anyway. Plus Ayesh showed us the way to see the dolphins. I highly recommend you take a jet ski (if you're able to) to see the dolphins, if you want to see them up close. The food was great! The restaurants were good, we liked a couple more than others (Japanese and Italian are our top two favs). We just wished they had more hours(open at 7pm) You are pretty close to your villa neighbors while on the beach, if you don't have a private pool, you'll be in close proximity to others, just fyi. The beach chairs need to be farther apart, if possible.

"Very nice resort, amazing experience"
The resort is very nice, the staff is very polite and caring. The food choices and quality were great. Especially at the Etesian restaurant offered excellent food. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. We were amazed how well trained, professional and friendly the staff was. We not only miss the island, but also the people there. All facilities were very well maintained.

"Excelent family beach vacation"
I stayed 6 nights with my wife and my 2 kids, and it was an extra ordinary holiday. Standard room is great, so no need to upgrade , we were almost less than 10 steps to reach the beach. Rooms are recently renovated. The sandy beach with the colorful coral reefs and fishes were exceeding my expectations.

Friendly locals, white sands, and beautiful waters are just a few of the features that make the Maldives a top destination in many tourists' minds. The rainy seasons for the Maldives are July to August and November to March. Most of the rest of the year the weather is pleasant and tropical. Even during winter months, the Maldives is still comfortable and many tourists love to visit around the winter holidays to get away from the cold weather elsewhere.

Many consider the months between May and November to be the prime time to visit. During this time, the clouds can help cool the temperature down a bit, but it can also be a bit on the rainy side. This is often considered the best time to visit if you enjoy diving or snorkeling. The water tends to be a bit clearer than it even normally is, which can enhance water sport activities.
