Nice new hotel with sea view rooms, very suitable for family .
-There is no soundproof in the room which is not acceptable for a 5 stars hotel. I can even hear the people's steps in the next room!!!
-Very weak lights inside the room specially at night.
-Expensive price for the regular room.

"Good business class hotel, Not Cable or Satellite "
This hotel used to be part of the Global Hotel Alliance which ended 4/15/2015 which is very unfortunate. While the staff tries hard and the facilities are nice they're a cab ride or drive from most fun places to eat or things to do. That being said there are a number of high end, very good restaurants inside the hotel and views are among the best in Bahrain.

Have stayed here when it was Kempinski. Now under a new management and name, this hotel has gone up a notch. The carpets still smell in the corridors, but the service and its staff have tremendously improved. Stay was excellent. Thankful to Jennifer at the front desk, and Anthony at concierge for their kindness and excellent help.

"Another Happy, Wonderful Stay @ the Beautiful Ritz"
We have been coming to the Ritz for little mini breaks when we don't have enough time to go anywhere further away. It was the Eid Al-Adha holiday, and the hotel was fully booked. We were offered a cold towel and a delicious fruit drink at check-in, personally shown to our room by the wonderful Margarita (thank you!). We spent a near perfect 3 days and nights just laying around, swimming in and enjoying the temperature controlled (lovely cool water), shimmery, huge pool and ordering delicious cold drinks and pizza poolside from their outdoor pizza oven. Not to mention, staff generously would rove around the pool offering cold bottles of water and cold watermelon slices to all. At night, we ate at the fabulous restaurants or hung out at the Thai Lounge (with it's big golden dragon). My husband thoroughly enjoyed the gentlemen's themed smoking lounge downstairs with it's live singers/jazz music. Staff were incredibly professional and pleasant, prompt in their service, the room very comfortable with plenty of Asprey toiletries, room service excellent. At checkout, we mentioned that we had a slight problem with the temperature of the room (it did not cool down enough for us) and we were graciously invited to have lunch at the hotels expense at one of their restaurants by the gracious and lovely Margarita. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay this time, and left - as we always leave- refreshed, happy and relaxed. Thank you Ritz Carlton for another happy, amazing stay!

Emblematic of the lustrous gem that launched a thousand dhows, the Pearl Monument celebrates Bahrain's natural wealth. Tiny Bahrain was an economic titan well before oil thanks to the natural pearls off its waters. A source of national pride, pearl jewelry is a big draw to the capital city's old souk. For other worldly goods with a view, head to the futuristic 50-story Bahrain World Trade Center.
