"Everything was great. There was too much humidity in the room so all dry clothes became wet and all wet clothes couldn’t dry. Even the mirror was foggy. The pool was closed so they gave us free tickets for the CocoBongo show which was really fun. Public transit was really close. Once we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall great value for the money."

"The kitchen was extremely filthy with roaches. This was definitely not the place to try and get any kind of sleep as they would play weird techno music (not the cool kind of techno) starting very early in the morning, during the week and on weekends. Some of the employees were rude, and they would not talk to you when you would greet them in the morning or at night. Since the place is low budget you do get many interesting characters that stay there, also on a budget so you feel like you have...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Mayan monkey! Fun themed evenings, really large private room, and close to the marina. It is on the other end of the marina so I would maybe not have loved walking home alone at night but with someone else it was not a problem. Would return! "

"Staff was very attentive, friendly and provided quick service. Hostel had amenities such as outdoor courtyard, ping pong table, mini computer lab and outdoor seats with free breakfast cooked by one of the staff members. Convenient location as it is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Only downside was showers didn’t dispense water well and need a little maintenance and renovation. Overall a good experience. "

"Selina is always my go to choice when travelling for its safety, it’s people and it’s events. There is always something going on and the people are friendly. The room I got was private didn’t really need too should of booked a dorm as they are really big and comfortable beds."

"Overall a pretty good hostel. We had a private room and the room was very spacious which was amazing. The only downside is the bathroom smelled terrible - like sewage. If we didn't close the bathroom door the smell filled up the whole room. The rooftop bar has great food and drinks. It was really fun to hang out up there, have some drinks and play pool. "

"Everyone was welcoming and ready to help. The food was fantastic and it’s close to everything. Metro a few minutes away, close to sightseeing tours and, being a history buff, I walked past Templo Mayor every day! I will definitely stay there on my next visit "
