"Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat."

"This is a beautiful property just outside of the main town of Mindo on a dirt road. It’s very quiet and you will hear the sound of birds and frogs. We saw quite a few different birds just sitting on the porch outside our unit. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds and dining area are beautiful. The included breakfast is good and it’s nice to have the option to have dinner on property if you don’t feel like going out. Wonderful stay in Mindo. "

"Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

"I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. Hearing a river flowing and the tranquil sounds of a waterfall on the property; amazing to both fall asleep to and awaken to. Hummingbirds to admire, a swimming pool, soccer field, volley ball, a kids playground for families with younger ones, a walking path, hammocks, and breakfast provided. I had my own car and speak...

"Rustic place with lots of charm. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. The couple who run the place are incredible, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and their laundry service is very good and fast! The location could not be bette! The one thing I would suggest is if you are a light sleeper asks for a room that faces the back as our room faced the street and there was a loud party in front until 6 am which didn’t let us sleep despite our ear plugs.
