“cant wait to go back, and bring some friends”
where to I start....i have traveled a few times and stayed at many all inclusive hotels, and this is one of my favorites. From the check in experience which was a breathe, to check out which was just as easy, this was a perfect 4 day vacation with the hubby. Food was delicious, drinks were off the hook, service was good, just a coulple of grumpy people along the way but with my buzz who cares. Infinity pool is insane!!! OMG i did not want to leave the pool. Enteretainment very good. sunset beach was my favorite, Jerk chicken very good. In conclusion, I will recomend this hotel to anyone who would like to getaway from reality for a few days. You can go with girlfriend/boyfriend, friends, family, kids whoever....there is something for everyone, whether you want to relax or party.... i truly had a wonderful time.BTW best rooms to stay are in villa 34-36 convient location with nice views, plus a couple of hamacks for your use. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did
“Everyting Irie at this resort!!”
We stayed at this resort for my sister's wedding, and it was an absolutely wonderful time! Everyone was very kind and helpful; always said 'hi' as you passed them on the walkway, asked how you were doing, or if you needed anything, etc. The atmosphere was so pleasant and relaxing that we couldn't help but love it. We did a few excursions (which were great!), but I bet we could have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just staying at the resort the whole time. The pools were wonderful, there were plenty of beaches to chose from, the food was great (and never ending, it seemed!), they had movies and shows at night in their big open theater...So many options... The rooms were great too; comfy beds, nice views from the balconies, spacious bathrooms... All of the family that went continues to rave about it (I don't know how I'm going to compete with it when I get married some day!!). We all hope we can make it back someday, and I know we would all love to stay here again!
“No Desire to Go Back”
The Palladium Hotel is a beautiful place, but in the midle of no where. That is the main positive. The food was plentiful, the service was mostly good, but the taste and flavor of the food in all the restaurants was fair at best. We kept searching for something delicious and unfortunately we never found it, not even in the desserts or breads. As for the drinks included, the selection of liquors was very limited to the cheapest of brands and they HAD to be watered down. Drank all ay and never even a buzz.. But I have never done an all inclusive before and I guess that is what you get. We do not feel at this time that we would ever travel this way again.
“Great hotel, not a good reef”
Hotel staff was great! When we arrived there were a couple of small issues with the room. The iPod docking station wasn't working, the phone was broken and there was no iron. I mentioned all of the above to the front desk and all was fixed that day or early the next. I found the bed was VERY hard and I am not a difficult person by no means, but I found sleeping on my side hard because my hips would hurt! The other couple travelling with us had to switch rooms because they found a half Pepsi can in the shower drain??? So they switched rooms. So the pros are: loads of great food and a la carts! Swimming pools were great too! The beaches were ok, the best is Sunset Cove. The cons: the resort I found to be too big...I now know I prefer a small resort! The biggest disappointment for me and my husband (who both love to snorkel and dive), is that the reef around the resort was not very great. You get to see fish and lobster etc, but the coral is a sandy color and not colorful... As well, we went during the rainy season and we had I think a tail end of a hurricane so the inlet/harbor was very murky from the three rivers that run into it. Most days we couldn't see our outreached hands under water! Other than that if you go down south for the "resort life" it’s a great resort, loads of amenities! If you go to the Caribbean for snorkeling/diving, I recommend Breezes Runaway Bay!!! It has by far the most beautiful snorkeling and its close to many attractions!
“fantastic”
great resort............restaurants, beverages, entertainment and most of all the employees are the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Would do again and again and again”
Great customer service; caring and willing employees who greated you with a smile; spa treatment/facilities were excellent; appropriately decorated kiddies area; food could be a little better tasty, but hey I'm Jamaica ; entertainment and activities were off the chain ......a big thumbs up to the team @ the Grand Palladium
“Excellent Resort”
We just came back from a week stay at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton and we enjoyed our stay very much. The beaches are neat as they are very private and secluded. The bad side is the bars are quite some distance from some of the beaches and there was no beach side service. We also had to find the spots which were not covered with rocks and sea weed. The pool is very nice, a portion was under renovation during out stay but it was hardly noticed due to it being the off season. The bartenders were very friendly and entertaining. The restaurants were decent. Our favorite food spot on the resort was the jerk chicken hut which served sodas, rolls, jerk chicken, and paella. The staff was very friendly and helpful our entire stay. We won't hesitate to recommend this resort.
“Very Impressed”
Loved the resort although the layout was long with a lot of walking. The staff was always very helpful and courteous. Was pleased with all the restraunts except the fact they were not all open. Would definately return and recommend the 1 bedroom suite.
“Great Overall Experience”
We stayed at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Hotel for a week in August for my wedding. The overall experience was great. Our Wedding Coordinator Nekesha did an excellent job in making sure all our needs an request were met. My guest all gave a positive review of the hotel and its amenities (especially the food, size of rooms, pool and the hotel grounds) and commented that they would definitely return. The restaurants were great with lots of choices.(Some of the a la carte restaurants were closed on some nights and the staff advised that it was due to cleaning) The only downside to my stay was that our guestbook was misplaced during the wedding reception and I informed the staff and even filed a report with the security staff. However there was not much done to help with locating the book. I followed up everyday for the remainder of our stay but to no avail. I followed up a week after returning home and was told that the book was seen at one of the reception desks. The hotel however was unwilling to cover the cost of returning the book to me even though my wedding brought in so many patrons. This would have been excellent customer service on their part. Aside from the above incident, the hotel met and exceeded all my expectations and I would definitely recommend it
“Perfect Honeymoon!”
We had an amazing time at the beautiful Grand Palladium Resort! We stayed 7 nights and loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend this resort to any couple or family! Can't wait to return soon!
