A very decent 3-star resort.Posted Mar 8, 2014
Great service and food was very good with many choices for meals. Was wonderful to use all services extensively as wasn't as busy as the big resorts and didn't have lineups. Entertainment every night and was lots of fun!

NoisingPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Very good structure and service efficient, nice place to relax and enjoy the place.
Cons: As explained, rules of silence time.
Location: Location is good, close to the airport and local commercial places, the centre of city is close, 15 min by car but it is not attractive for turistm.
All is OK, except by the fact that I was in room 101 very close to the lobby, guests during my stay met after hotel show which ends 10h30 every night, staying making noising at this place up to 1h30 am, not respecting the other guests. The hotel staff could do something to avoid it.

Rough start but ended up GREAT!!!Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The atmosphere, the worker and their willness to satisfied the customer.
Cons: The rooms on the lower floor, such as room 20
Location: We went to Rick's Cafe and Sunset beach in Negril, which was 1:40 minutes away from the hotel.
When I got to the hotel we got our room right away, so we walk down to room 20, and oh my goodness it WAS double bed, when I made this reservation they knew we were renewing our vows, so a double bed was very disappointing to us, plus that room wasn't that clean. So I went up to the front desk and told them my complaint that that we wasn’t happy with our room, they told me that they will make it right first thing in the morning, which they did. ask I said we renew our wedding vows(20 yrs.) on the beach and when I say it was breath taken!! it was just beautiful!! the wedding planner put ceremony together within 2 days, because she said the person I talked to a month prior never put us on the calendar to get married 03/03/14..so I was really upset and expressed to her that this trip far is not going well. But the hotel corrected all the issue that I was having and I had a wonderful time there!!! Everything was so nice, the worker, the food!!! just have FUN!!! the whole time we were there! I would definitely go back to Decameron to stay

Pay the extra money and go somewhere else.Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: The food was good, and there were plenty of options.
Cons: The entertainment staff was nice and all, but sometimes people just want to relax and not get harassed by a guy with a microphone every 10 minutes.
Location: You can hear planes coming and going all day, every day. The beach area itself is small and very rocky. Go to Negril if you want beautiful beaches.
A few major problems lead me to not recommend this hotel. After 12+ hours of traveling we arrived on a Saturday at 5pm. I had called the day before to confirm our reservation, so I didn't expect any issues. When we tried to check in, the desk clerk got a confused look on her face, and said guest services would need to check us in. Skeptical, my girlfriend and I waited in the lobby until a woman came and informed us that the hotel had no available rooms, despite our reservation being on the books for 6 months. After 30 more minutes of apologies from the woman and swearing on my part, we realized our only option would be to stay at the ghetto hotel across the street for the first night. We had to cross a busy street and walk three blocks several times over the next day just to get to the hotel. We were told that we would be allowed to check in early the next day, but or course we had to sit in the lobby for another 2 hours with our luggage before being led to our room. The room was not an ocean view room, which we had requested and paid for, but at this point I was too tired to argue and didn't care. We scheduled a 5 night stay, and 20% of this was essentially ruined because they did not have a room ready for us. I still can't believe how unprofessional and unprepared this hotel was.

Gem of a place!!!Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: The view was awesome, the nightly shows and the wonderful food
Cons: Nothing to mention
Location: Margaritaville was a nice getaway, but I mainly stayed on the hotel and enjoyed the premises
I visited this inclusive resort this February and have to say I was VERY pleased with the view, the staff and overall surroundings. I would stay here again for sure!!!

Older hotel, nice beachPosted Feb 24, 2014
The hotel is older and rooms could use a good cleaning but the rest of the hotel was nice. Beach area's were very nice and so were bars. Pool area a little small and food was just alright. Pretty good snorkeling right at hotel beach.

Everything is very old and but very clean . the whole place needs a new face. The staff is wonderful and very good at including everyone in there intertainment. A Outdated Hotel with Beautiful view of the SeaPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: The ocean view.
I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I cannot be still. We just returned from our stay at this resort. The grounds, pools, beach, food were all just fine. The resort staff service was excellent. The rooms however are old and in need of a complete update. Our room even had a musty smell. This resort is by no means a luxury resort, it is however close to the airport and hip strip. The resort overall just served a purpose. Nothing really special.

Not worth the money! Not a true all-inclusive!!Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Swimming, drinks and food. The outside of the hotels was well maintained. The (2) pool areas were well kept-up and clean.
Cons: The hotel, in general, needs major upgrades. See experience section.
Location: Not far from the Harley-Davidson Store and Margaritaville on the strip (within walking distance).
Hotel staff was pleasant. If staying there for any length of time or any time for that matter, always book the ocean view rooms. The garden view rooms are very disappointing (was in (2) garden view rooms. The room floor and trim needed washed, sink drain did not have a plug, hair in the corners of the rooms, bed was hard, and the pillows flat. The food, drinks, beach chairs and water are the only real positive points to this hotel. $2US a night for the safe (old style), $5US for 1 hour of WIFI service that was only satisfactory, in the lobby only. No computer system for the front desk or for room keys. You tend to get better service if you tip the waiters/waitresses even though tips are suppose to be included. The glass bottom boat-Captain Poly was worth the money at the hotel (he takes you out to snorkel on the coral reef for an hour for $20US per person. They were updating/fixing the main dock coming out of the dining room during our stay. Mostly an older crowd, not very many young families at this resort.
