Perfect place to go without children

Pros: Good location, wonderful and friendly staff and all inclusive.
Cons: My least favorite thing about the St. James was having to leave.
The moment we got there we were treated very well. "All" the staff, crews, security, engineering and grounds people were very kind, courdial and friendly. We spent six nights at the St. James and we're happy we did and plan on returning.

Location: the location is good ,but the beach is very small
we stay 5 nights, the first two nights the electericity went off for five hours ,no air condition it was so hot . the food was not good .I do not recommend this hotel at all

Pros: All the action was on one side of the resort and you couldn't hear a thing from the other side. It made for nice romantic walks along the beach.
Cons: The resort credits should be more like cash. The vouchers are a cheap ploy to get guests to spend more than they already have.
Location: I spent my entire time on the resort because there was no lack of things to do right there!
If you want to be pampered, this is the place to go! My wife and I stayed for four nights and we are ready to book our next stay for a week. I can't wait to go back and I'm hoping it'll be soon! A fun place with a full list of activities and evening events to participate in! Really looking forward to our next stay!

Cons: Management please train your stuff to serve! You guys live out of tourism so it a shame!
Location: With regards to souvenirs... Buy coffee outside of the hotel and liquor at the airport duty free shop.
The beach and the sea are the only two 5-star things this resort has. Food is average, and no sea food. The staff is not friendly or helpful. They look annoyed if asked for any kind of service. Front lobby bartender kept play on his phone after I requested a drink. Waitress at the Oceanfront restaurant refused to bring me sugar simply stated that she doesn't have any and walked away. They serve only their native beer - Red Stripe and to get a Heineken you have to know people who know people... They are lazy and careless.

Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff, amazing all inclusive everything
Cons: nothing bad to say about hotel
Location: Great location. Close to the airport so no long bus ride when you get off the plane
Everything about this hotel was amazing. I cannot wait to go back!!

Pros: The piano bar and outside patio were fun every night!
Cons: Check in and check out were pretty disorganized, and the lobby is really small, but once you're done with that this is a really nice resort.
Location: Less than 15 min from the airport!
Beautiful hotel, but keep in mind that May through November is the rainy season. It rained every day from 1 to 3 in the afternoon. The drinks were very good with higher end liqueurs than other resorts we've stayed at (even though they didn't put Red Stripe in the room refrigerators), and the food was pretty good. The jerk chicken cart by the beach is amazing! Dunns River Falls was fun (bring your own water shoes if you have them), and the zip line and bobsled at Magic Mountain were really cool as well.
