Independent Myeongdong hotels in Seoul, South Korea

Nice place to stay. The last stop of the bus from the airport is just a couple of meters walk (in front of Sejong Hotel). Everything u need to do and see are very close to this place. Myeongdong market is closeby, go shopping or eat street foods.

V accessible, friendly staff, happy bright rooms, near to subway station.

I travelled to Seoul for a quick stay of 3 nights and decided on the metro hotel due to it's great reviews on the site. Overall I had an extremely enjoyable stay at the hotel. Located in the heart of myeongdong, it's convenience is really what sells this place. Right near both myeongdong station (8-10 min) and euljiro station (3 min), as well as the airport bus station at lotte hotel direct to Icheon airport (5 min)..... Public transport is definitely easier than ever and getting to and front the hotel is no struggle. Secondly, the room I was provided (on the 7th floor) was clean, modern and provided all the necessary facilities (fridge, safe, hair dryer). The room felt cosy and it's decor was actually quite cute! Room came with a small window view which was quite nice. They also provided scales at reception for weighing luggage. Staff were professional and had great English skills which prevented any issues or potential misunderstandings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for value for money in the heart of the city. Great place to kill time with some shopping late at night and loads of restaurants to chose from close by. Would definitely return!

Nine tree hotel is where the action is in Myeong-dong area. It is beside a lot of restaurants so you don't have to go far to eat. A lot of shopping malls are around it, so its very convenient to shop. The Seoul cathedral is also very near so Sunday mass is not a problem. The hotel rooms are very clean,wifi is strong but rooms are good for two only. You have to choose a bigger room if your going with family. Another great thing about this hotel is that the airport shuttle stop is right at the back of the hotel. If your looking for a great hotel in the Myeong-dong area then this is one is for you.

The hotel is well situated in Myeongdong, with easy access to subway, and lots of eateries and shopping with walking distance. The hotel staff are also warm and helpful, especially Ms M. A. Son who went the extra mile to assist us with our transport booking to our ski resort. Overall we had a lovely stay!

Travelling with my son but would have no hesitation returning with my whole family. very close to Myendong metro station (5 mins walk) and 10 min uphill stroll to the cable car station and North Seoul tower. Very friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean room and fully tiled toilet/wet room with shower hose attached to basin tap. Don't knock it as shower is wonderful and powerful albeit the area a little small. In room wifi very good and nice basic breakfast in basement between 7-9am of bread, toast, butter, jam, milk, coffee and filtered water. Would readily recommend to anyone - providing they are not looking for the Ritz because you don't pay Ritz prices. I am due to return in a week and have re-booked and looking forward to my return stay.

Great location, with a homie feel. Really like the heater available in the room. My children learned from it. Everything is wonderful except for the kitchen which is a bit cramp. When everyone is there, there isn't much space to move. Suggest to separate cooking area and washing so two people can do it the same time. Otherwise our stay was wonderful!

its took my friend and i a while to look for the hotel in the freezing -4 deg Celsius but upon our arrival, we were greeted very greatly and the guesthouse owner was very welcoming. although the room was small, it was perfect and lovely for us. it was very easy to find food as Myeongdong street is filled with street snacks and restaurants.

Myeongdong is literally across the road from the hotel and the hotel is visible from the airport bus stop (very easy to navigate). The hotel staff were so gracious and gave us a free upgrade on the room. Highly recommend!
