The hotel is very easy to find next to the Metro station, it is very quiet and comfortable and was a very practical place to stay in Paris and excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful when I wanted to change my room as I did not like the first room they gave me. I would definitely come back again.

Great studio apart-hotel. Can't beat the Price for theParis area. And remember this is Europe so small minimal rooms are the norm. Recently opened so you can tell they are still putting the finishing touches on the place.

This hotel was located literally 10 feet away from a Metro stop (Ourcq) which was probably what made it such a nice stay for us. We are college students and only wanted a place to rest our heads for the night. The bed was comfy. The room was very clean. The bathroom was nice and also clean. It also came with a kitchen, fridge and cooking utensils which make it a really great place to stay for a week visit and to save some money on eating out. The price was really great for us as well. I'm very surprised that it was as nice as it was for the price we were paying.
The metro system is very quick (feels quicker than London) and we were able to get to wherever we wanted very easily.
There is also a really great and authentic restaurant just down the street called Le Brasier des Ternes. The waiters were very friendly, it's very cozy and has great French food!
The only unusual thing about the hotel was that the reception was closed on Sundays so when we checked out we had to leave our key in a box. It just seemed a little bit strange because what if we had had a problem with the room or anything on that day. Luckily we didn't so it really was overall a great visit and place to stay.

The hotel on first impressions looks ok. There is a clean and relatively shiny reception area and a clean restaurant are. The staff are helpful although they wouldn't bend over backwards for you. While we were there only 1 staff member appeared to be on duty the whole time.
The corridors were filthy with rubbish and ingrained dirt and it didn't look as if it had been cleaned that week. The corridors smelled of dirt, grime and cooking food. There were people hanging around in the corridors until late at night.
The lifts had also seen better days and had a smashed up appearance.
The rooms were basic and on the face of it were adequate. They were grimy and could have done with a deep clean. The kitchen was equipped ok, but there were serious safety issues, with the electrical sockets coming out of the walls and a smashed light above the cooker.
The bath also had black mould around it.
Although the accommodation was reasonably priced and that we did expect it to be basic, we do expect there to be a reasonable level of cleanliness and that safety is taken seriously. The accommodation is clearly a hostel / B&B which also houses people who are less fortunate. This can be intimidating for other, less experienced travellers.
It would be wise for Expedia and the like to consider whether it is worth marketing the accommodation as a hotel as clearly the main business of the hotel is for some sort of emergency accommodation.
