Would never go back!Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The lady at the front was kind. Parking was close to the room.
Cons: Pool needs fixed or take that info off the website. Price was too high for this hotel. Put an air freshener in all areas. Needs updated.
Location: Restaurants nearby were great
Advertised pool on website. There was a pool, but no water in it. Closed for the season. The room was either boiling hot to freezing with the air conditioning. In fact after staying here, I cancelled my other econo lodge that I reserved on our trip. Would never return. The room smelled as well as the front desk area. It was definitely not worth the money.

nice room for the pricePosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: the price (but watch out for the taxes
Cons: better parking, pool available
Location: located in downtown Hermiston, OR. walking distance to food and shopping.
The staff were helpful and the room was clean. We save a lot of money staying here. The pool was not open, the parking is a little odd and it is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination but it was clean, the cable worked, and the beds were comfortable.

Interesting PlacePosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: Not much, but the room was very clean
Cons: Pick something!
Location: Do NOT stay in Hermiston, OR if you can avoid it.
We rolled in to this motel (on a good slope!) and all the parking spots were taken and people were parking in front of other cars, blocking them in. The front desk lady said I didn't have a reservation but finally did find it. An old 60's motel, but very clean. It seems to mostly be a rental. The pool was closed for remodeling but was too small to use anyway. I had asked the front desk lady about the Italian place in front of the motel and was told it was "Wonderful". It wasn't. That was the first time I ordered a Reuben and got a hamburger covered w/sauerkraut and SMALL amount of dressing and a slice of corned beef/

Cons: The towels were thin and had stains. The A/C and TV were dated. The bed spreads and sheets were very old.
Location: restaurants were in walking distance.
Hotel was overpriced for what you got. The pictures look a lot better on the website. When you arrive you are not to thrilled.

Avoid this motel, unless there is no other option.Posted Jul 11, 2013
Room smells, dirty linen, no breakfast. A/C, TV was working though. If I knew, I would not have booked this motel.

50% good, 50% badPosted Nov 9, 2012
Pros: In room ammenties were good (iron and board, coffee pot, and refrigerator)
Cons: Ironing board was broken, appliances were unplugged, not enough accessible power plugs, A/C-Heater should be used to ensure it was in working order.
Location: Good location, near downtown
Hotel was clean as expected for an older place... looks to be about 40 yrs old. In need of a make over. Bare essentials for a business or overnight stay. Bed was good, and comfortable. Parking is a mess, with most people parking in front of their rooms. A/C-Heater unit gave off an unpleasent smell because of disuse. I was disappointed with my online reservation - I was offered a special internet rate, but the staff recharged me at a slightly higher rate (~$5.00 more). This was a very disappointing experience, and althought the charge was small.

Not for mePosted May 29, 2012
Pros: Support staff.
Cons: Management. Rude, discourteous, Felt like big brother was watching there.
Location: Location was okay, hard to acess across trafic.
The cleaning staff was freiendly and courteous.. .. The management staff was rude.. I booked here originally becuase they adversit sed a "seaonsal pool".. I guess it wasn't the season.. I wanted to take my granddaughter there. The pool was empy except for a little dirty water at the bottom. I had a pet, they made a big deal about it and hounded me until I paid the extra fee for the pet. The extra fee was okay, but they called me out about it in front of everyone and made a big deal of it.. They called the room repeatedly as soon as I returned to tell me to pay for the pet.. They made a big deal out of nothing.. I felt they didn't trust me and cared more for the extra ten bucks then customer satisfaction.. The room was okay, but in definite need of an upgrade.. The ice machine was located in the laundry room that was in need of cleaning.. It was not a pleasent experieince and I would not recommed this to anyone. Not for me .. I felt like was under watch the whole time I was th ere to catch me at whatever I was doing wrong..

Reserve only if no where else to go!Posted May 28, 2012
Location: It is a pain if traffic is busy
I hated this run down cheap hotel. I'd rather pay more and be happy. The continental breakfast was a joke!!! Honey buns, nutty bars, coffee and juice? Am I being punked? The bathroom window had no screen and anybody could walk by and see you showering. Plus no fan in bathroom so you had to open the window. The bathroom heater looked like it could catch on fire if I turned it on. I was afraid to use the ice machine. The pool had no water when the reservations said it had a pool. Yea, it had a pool but, can't use it. They need to post if the pool is not filled or in use. I was disappointed. I would only use this hotel if you had no where else to go.

OK place to stayPosted May 22, 2012
Cons: AC not very cold
Location: close to food and shopping
The motel is an older place but well keeped and clean. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The breakfast is just pastry, juice, and coffee, but for the economy price, I can not complain.

okay for the traveler on a budgetPosted Aug 11, 2011
This hotel was one of the cheaper options in the area. It appeared clean, but the hotel is very clearly ageing. I think I expected a little more for what we paid, but I can't find it in me to be truly disgusted. It was a place to sleep on our way from and to home, and it did that job twice. The two queen beds were really doubles, I think. It was about 5 miles from the interstate. The pool was drained during our visit in August, but I don't think the listing advertised a pool. The continental breakfast was orange juice and plastic-wrapped sticky buns. I couldn't get a wireless signal, but I didn't bother to ask for help with it. What was nice was that it was fairly quiet. No rooms above us, so nobody stomping around. It seems to be a hotel for travelers, so no boisterous groups making noise outside our room. It was also within walking distance of a great variety of fast food restaurants and gas stations. I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, but I might stay there again if I were traveling through on a budget.
