"Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. "We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!"

"Rocks cabin really rocks!!! Cabin is super clean, amenities are great. You could find anything you look for. If you are looking for a quiet gateway, look no further. Our dogs loved it so much also, beware of coyotes at night!!!"

"This is the second year we have stayed at this home for our winter holiday. We have enjoyed our visits and found the home to have everything we need. We were pleased to find the fireplace in working order, even though we received a note that it was not working. That and the large kitchen are the natural gathering spots for our family. Watching the ice fishing on the lake is an added bonus. Thank you for sharing this lovely property. We'll be back!"

"We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. "If you are looking to enjoy some quality time with friends/family, this place is excellent! We stayed for a weekend bachelor/bachelorette party with 14 people. Beautiful views, near trails (check out the falls near by), plenty of things to do while there, even for those who don’t ski! We played pong, pool, karaoked, enjoyed the hot tub even spent some time near the fire. All in all a great place to book!"

"This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! The home was clean and well-appointed. Due to these positives, I give it a five star rating. However, a few things are needed to make it even better - repair the holes in the window screens. This was a very hot summer stay and there is no air-conditioning. I really wanted to open my bedroom window at night to get the cool...
