Clean and calm facility

We loved the rooms. Ours was not spotless. I noticed beverage “rings” on the bedside table, not a deal breaker, but something that was definitely missed. And my husband had his credit card lifted off the bar and we had to deal with that. Again, not a deal breaker, but it was unfortunate. Other than that, staff was pleasant and helpful.

It is a neat property. The charm and quirkiness outweigh the negatives. Fox and Hound is a very neat spot with a friendly bartender. The room, specifically the bathroom, was disappointing. There is no way to turn on the shower without being sprayed with cold water, and the water sprays out making a mess. The exhaust vent was covered with dust, making me question the cleanliness of germs I can't see. The smoke detector cover was missing, and the light switch is on the far wall from the door which is not fun in the middle of the night. I would stay again, its a neat place overall, but attention to detail is lacking.
