“We weren’t expecting a 5-star stay but for the price the space seemed pretty outdated & worn. It was clean enough given the conditions, but grout & caulk was stained & cracked, lighting was poor w/dirty covers, wallpaper was peeling, etc. - it was just not what we expected for the rate. The bed was comfortable enough but bedding was threadbare & the pillows were relatively tiny. Breakfast was nothing to write home about either - nothing hot available. It was ok for the night, but wouldn’t have……

“The biggest disappointment about this motel isn’t the broken amenities—it’s that the staff is forced to watch the place slowly fall apart while the owner seems completely out of touch and doesn’t appear to care. The first problem hit before we even got to our room: the elevator was out of service, so we had to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs. That’s not a great first impression. “We had a great stay here! We utilized the pool. It was an indoor pool but it is NOT heated! The kids didn’t mind but the adults did!!!! Not quite ice bath cold but close. I would have to say that was the only ding I would give the hotel. The area was well lit and clean. The room was clean, the carpet was a bit old. But the room we stayed in was directly next to the pool area. It was a lot more humid there so that might explain the carpet. There was a mini fridge. But the best part was the……

“This is our favorite hotel in the area! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the free drinks, dinner and breakfast are always great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We’ve never had an issue if we needed a late checkout or anything additional during our stay! It’s in a very convenient location and the area around the hotel is clean and safe. “Overall, the hotel was very nice, and I would give it 4 stars. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the main lobby had a very strong bleach smell. While I appreciated knowing the area was clean, the odor was so overpowering that it started giving me a headache. They should definitely tone it down. “Gagging amount of air freshener to try covering other odors. Swimming pool was closed for cleaning. Most of electric outlets in room did not work. No hot water in morning, even though I ran water a long time. Carpet was filthy, and gooey to walk on. TV remote and other things were sticky. Online ad said TV had Closed Captioning, but that only sometimes worked. A.C. was so noisy the vibrations shook both beds. Had to ask for washcloth and hand towel. Very dim light at sink and makeup mirror.……
