“Very Unique Hotel”

This hotel is one of a kind. The hotel is in a great location and the customer service is excellent. My only complaint is that the rooms are a little small.

“Friendly and informative staff at the Portland Hotel Lucia”

We stayed at the Hotel Lucia for two nights (three days). The room size was a little small but considering the age of the hotel and its wonderful location it worked out just fine. The staff was very helpful in suggesting things to see while in the city and wonderful places for us to eat. When we went back to get our umbrella, they gave us one to use so we didn't have to go back to our suite.

This was my first trip solo and the staff at the hotel were amazingly helpful and hospitable! The rooms were a tad bit small, but the decor and design made up for it. The bed was amazingly comfortable... even more so than my own bed. I would definitely go back.

“Charming, Clean, and Comfortable!”

The valet service was very helpful and prompt when we arrived to check in. They assisted us with our luggage while we checked in at the front desk, where staff were very welcoming. We had driven in from out of town and were hungry for dinner. The staff member at the front desk was able to secure a reservation for us at El Gaucho across the street even though they were booked solid for the evening. Overall, our experience was very good. The hotel is very clean, and the bed and bedding were amazing! I highly recommend staying at Hotel Lucia.

“A great hotel in a great location”

Lucia is in a central location close to almost everything in downtown PDX. There's a great Thai restaurant next door and a great steakhouse right across the street. My room was absolutely sterile and quiet. Just how I like it. Staff was friendly and relaxed- not like some 5 star hotels where the staff is trying so hard to impress that they make you feel uncomfortable. The staff at Lucia is real and very helpful.

Hotel Lucia was fantastic! The bed was very comfortable. The front desk was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some fantastic restaurants. When we go back to PDX, we will stay at Hotel Lucia.

“Great Hotel bad late night room service”

Everything was really great about this hotel. It was really comfortable right down to the pillow menu. The only bad thing was that I came home late around 10PM and ordered room service from the late night menu. It was a cold hamburger with even colder fries. Very disappointing. However I did not complain because I was too tired, not giving them a chance to correct the situation. From everything else I experienced I feel they would have.

I would recomend the Lucia (we are on a first name basis after five stays) to one and all. I especially enjoy its location, a quick walk to the MAX line and all sorts of restaurants and shopping. The staff is extemely helpful with no false "friendliness" - you ask, they help, smile off you go.

“Hip and Happening in Portland”

We loved our stay at Hotel Lucia! Modern without being uncomfortable or industrial, Hotel Lucia offers a great place to rest your head in downtown Portland-just 4 short blocks away from the Pearl District. The rooms are small but not stuffy. I was especially a fan of the Granny Smith towers in the lobby.
