Perfect location for beach, cafés and restaurants.Posted Mar 4, 2015
Cons: professional training for staff.
Loved the location, amazing views of the lagoon and reef. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Bathrooms could have insect screens over the windows also allowing for more privacy. Some staff lacked the finer points on how to communicate in a professional manner with their guests.

The resort itself was beautiful. Stunning location. Great staff. Room was comfortable. We had 5 days of torrential rain though, so we weren't able to utilise the perfect beach location due to bad weather. Overall it was a nice stay.

Great family holiday !Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Great hotel, location and staff
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind at this stage.
Location: Great location in front a fantastic crystal clear lagoon. Convenient restaurants, mini-market, car/scooter rental offices in the resort and close by.
We had a great time. Great staff, everyone from the reception, beach hut, restaurant, etc... all very friendly, efficient and professional. The location of the resort is great, just right spot by a beautiful lagoon with loads of beautiful fish. The complimentary water equipment provided was very handy and it was always available. The garden was so well maintained and the restaurant always had a nice option for any time of the day, and what a fantastic buffet breakfast !!

Top Spot for all!Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Facilities, Muri Beach location and friendly staff
Cons: Food...needs to be more tasty and selection - maybe offer a 'special' each day. Teenage (13-18yrs) activities ie:movie night, canoe race, etc
Location: Fantastic location, great snorkeling at reef in front of Fruits of Rarotonga, which is nearby. The Island show next door is definitely worthwhile.
Great location, facilities and friendly staff ;) Thanks to ALL staff....you made the trip a memorable one and we will return one day....hopefully in the not too distant future!

Five star views, two star service.Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: The views. They really are spectacular. And the location on the lagoon is second to none.
Cons: Addressing the small details in the rooms and motivating and training staff to deliver appropriate service.
Location: Muri Beach is a great spot for visitors. There are great places to eat and the lagoon, with it's motu, is fantastic!
We spent the last night of our honeymoon here in the most expensive hotel room available as we wanted to spoil ourselves (they also have a villa) on our way back from Aitutaki. While we loved the million dollar view across the lagoon, there were so many things that disappointed us. Despite confirming out airport shuttle the day before, it was not booked and we had to make our own way to the resort. On arrival the check-in was seamless, but our escort did not carry our bag (it seems minor, but we would expect that level of service from a five-star resort). Our room had spectacular views, but there were so many little things missing. We had mosquito coils but no matches to light them, there were no bedside lamps, no bath mat, no screens on the door so we couldn't enjoy the breeze without the mosquitos, and the room was noisy. Really noisy! We met another lady who had checked out of the resort mid-holiday after a series of bad experiences, which we felt strangely reassuring. As for recreation equipment, kayaks were free, but SUP's incurred a fee, which was the first time we'd encountered that, and just added to our disappointment. They do have great beanbags on the beach though, which are comfortable and a nice way to relax, but get in early!

Location, Location, LocationPosted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: The laid back atmosphere was valuable for a relaxing holiday
Cons: Whilst the resort offers a beach towel exchange the towels are barely a bath towel, not long enough for laying on. I would recommend you take your own
Location: Great little Mexican & Thai cafe's & also two coffee shop cafe's nearby also convenience stores, car rental & souvenir shop all in walking distance
Fabulous holiday resort perfectly positioned. The staff were all friendly & happy to attend to any requests. The accommodation was clean & well serviced daily. Our room was a Premium Beach front suite, it was nice & quiet & very private. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate however, if you desired a cooked breakfast the menu was available at very reasonable prices. Our lunch at Sandals was fabulous - the Ika Mata is great. We would be happy to return to this resort & recommend to others.

well laid-out resortPosted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: rooms well designed and well supplied with features like: tv, cutlery, toaster, ironing board, safe, back-yard (great for drying swimming gear)
Location: muri beach is a good spot for walking, snorkelling (though fruits is better) and kayaking. night market has authentic cheap and good food.
we loved the room which had cutlery, etc which allowed us to self-cater for lunches. spent a lot of time at the pool, kayaking and snorkelling. hired a car for 3 days to tour around. waterfall is nice but a hard walk across (though didn't do it). reef is best around fruits but nice spots in the lagoon. breakfasts were nice and staff very friendly and relaxed - no hard-sell. found the resort to be well organised and laid out with guests in mind. some thoughtful touches in the design making it a 10/10 for us.
