    "Good Value"
This was the second time I have stayed here.....I think its a fine place to stay ...handy to all things, relaxing...It is true Island style accodation, for those people who moan about it, they should not holiday in the Islands. I love the roosters in the morning, I love seeing the chooks, the cats and the dogs around the Island ...that is part of island life. Edge Water has many return clients and I can see why, the garden is lovely, the beach is good and safe...The only thing I would say to improve my stay would have been a more comfortable bed. The food in the resturant is very good and also good quick service...I would defiantly stay there again...

"Nice hotel close to the beach."
Great staff, best location, love the beach. The BBQ nights are great, the sunsets amazing. Smaller, quiet hotel, without that big-resort feel. Kayaks and paddle boards included.

"Highly Recommended for a Fantastic Island Getaway"
We absolutely loved our stay at Muri Beachcomber. We spent five nights in Room 22 (one of the Watergarden Villas) on our honeymoon, and can't speak highly enough of the experience. Our villa was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and came complete with a two fantastic hammocks on our front porch. Situated only metres from gorgeous Muri Lagoon, our villa was set back amongst beautiful tropical gardens with a pond full of water lilies and plenty of fish. The resort is situated right next door to the Muri Night Markets, with Island Rentals across the road, and a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants within two minutes' walk. The staff were wonderful, with great advice about where to eat/drink/play, and we made use of the free bicycles, flippers and kayaks almost every day. We absolutely recommend the Muri Beachcomber to anyone looking for a stress-free holiday in paradise.

"Nice beach bungalow on beautiful lagoon "
Overall a good experience as everything accommodation wise was good, although our bed was a bit soft to our liking. We were disappointed with the Bounty Restaurant as one evening it took 45 min to get our dessert after ordering it and it tasted like a commercially brought cheesecake, not a nice chef made fresh dessert. The daily limited food choices (4 mains) were quite weird/fancy but the result was often poorly executed, the Roast beef dish was sold out by 7pm so our only choice one night was Goat, Fish or Vegetarian dish. Included breakfasts were also strange, didn't know what we would end up with as there was no choice for a simple breakfast e.g. cereal, scrambled egg's, unless you paid for them extra.

    "Wonderful views, good value, comfortable."
When dining it's very hard to get good value for the money you pay. The barbeque at Paradise Cove was exceptionally good value and finger lickin great. I would highly recommend it. Great cooking plenty to eat, great variety of salads and vegetable dishes, Fish pork, chicken. Food is expensive at Cook islands as food gets freighted from New Zealand. Fresh tuna is plenty though $16kg, eggs $10 dozen, bottle of tomato sauce $10. Frozen veg $7. for 750grams. At times some of the shops wouldn't have groceries. People own their own fruit trees and sometimes bring some food to the shops. My recommendation bring some of your own food. The owner of Paradise Cove also owns the main supermarket and has an orchard so these guys do a good breakfast without running out of milk, plenty of fruit, bread jam honey, cereal and on sunday we had great pancakes. Tavi one of the breakfast staff invited us to local dance practice in the evening for the cook islands 50th celebrations. Jaw dropping dancing. Oropa the night time cook showed me how to shop for food in Cook islands, that was fun. I loved staying at Paradise Cove and would recommend it. Theres OK snorkelling in front of Paradise Cove and you dont need to go out that far, 10metres or so. However the best snorkelling is around other islands nearby and to get to these you could hire someone to take you out with their boat $40pp or go on a $100 tour which we did this was fantastic.
