"Super quaint little cottage, exactly what we needed. The hosts are incredibly sweet and accommodating. The view is of open farmland with mountians in the distance. The sun sets off the back of the cottage and theres a wonderful view. Really wonderful spot!"

"We chose this property for its proximity to Early Mountain Vineyards, which was our primary destination, but we loved coming back to the cottage and making a wood fire with the complimentary wood the owner left us! We ended up not cooking anything ourselves, but all the necessary supplies were there if we had wanted to. A nice secluded spot right next to a river!"

"My dog loved the smells and just wanted to stand on the front patio and sniff as horses grazed nearby or looked back at her. The interior of the cottage was delightful, very clean with very comfy bed and full kitchen. I enjoyed walking around the property in dawn's early light and met several workers who were very friendly and ready to address a tree that had fallen across one of the trails. There are at least two wedding venues on the property which may give an idea of how scenic and beautiful...

"My friends and I stayed here for a short gateway. The house was very nice but the cons are: 1. Mattress were uncomfortable because they were old and spring mattress. 2. Linens looked old,musty, and dirty. Some linens still had stains. 3. Pillows were old and thin. 4. Bathrooms were stained in blue and old. 5. Pictures are not up to date here on Vrbo such as the rooms and gaming room was unexpected but we enjoyed it. Overall, we had a great stay. Location is great, easy to find. We would go back...

"Had a fun weekend stay with a trip to Shenandoah National Park for a hike and blackberry ice cream pie, visited a ciders in Sperryville, and enjoyed the Possom Store and Art Print shopping near the listing. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer and float or swim in the river. Farm fresh eggs left by super responsive host were great!"

"Pros: Serene location, picturesque pond in backyard, great vibes and friendly staff. We were here for a wedding and had a wonderful time. Cons: Older farm dog off leash on property-roams around and bit our friend’s dog, causing him to bleed, Pond house cute but could be cleaner-quite dusty. "
