“Enjoyed our stay at the little house in the woods. Views were spectacular! Location was fantastic. Only suggestion, it was cold and a heater in the bathroom would have been nice. Otherwise loved the place.”

“This house is spacious, comfortable and functional. We had everything in the kitchen to cook our meals when needed. Showers were big and water pressure was good. Beds were very comfortable. We all had good recuperating sleep after all day hiking. The house is close to Acadia. It took us no more than 25 min to any hiking trail we chose. Food options were much better quality and prices were lower than in Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this house and would come back when visiting the area. ”

“Everything was in perfect order, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The area is beautiful and close to Acadia with a trail within walking distance. The harbor, restaurants and shops are 10 minutes from the house. Ben (the host) directions to the house, and recommendations to all activities were excellent. I would love to stay again if I'm ever in this area of Maine. ”

“The cottage was great. Clean, simple, basic accommodations, nothing fancy but had all we needed. The location really is the star, can see the water and Boon Island Light from the screened in porch. The beds were very comfy, despite being pretty loud when turning over or getting in or out of bed. The kitchen was well-appointed, no dishwasher, we brought paper plates to cut down on post-meal chores. Overall a great week was enjoyed by our family and puppy. ”

“The property far exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect and we were well taken care of by our hosts. We were very comfortable inside and enjoyed the outside of the property as well. The views were spectacular from all 3 levels of the home. We took advantage of using the kayaks provided in the bay. The location was convenient to Acadia NP, Schoodic Point, grocery stores, restaurants and gas. ”
