My husband and I went in mid-October on a baby-moon. The hotel was not fully booked and at times we had the small beach to ourselves, perfect for relaxation. We did some snorkeling off the hotel beach and although there was not an abundance of tropical fish, it was a fun activity in the very calm waters (perfect for a pregnant woman to swim in--also great for small children). My husband enjoyed the beach/pool-side bar and the staff were very friendly, although food at the bar was slightly overpriced compared to what you can get in the marina part of town. Our stay included a continental breakfast which we substituted with the Mexican breakfast daily for a small fee-well worth it. Overall, we had a very pleasant and peaceful stay.
